We were off road about 75% of the time traveling from one tour site to another. My tour changed without consulting me was not okay. I did not get to see the city tour and the turtle rock in Tejishi National Park. I had to remind the tour guide about a Mongolian bbq that was to be prepared by the Nomad family when we spent the night. But over all, it was a great experience to be had.

This was a dream destination trip for me and Tsatral saw it through. We actually did a multi tour including the 10d Northern Trip and visit to the Tsaartan Nomads with Horse trekking, the Gobi 7d tour, the as well as fitted it during Naadam. It was exactly what we wanted. If you asked me the highlights I couldn’t choose. The horse trekking was amazing, these are horse forward people and the horses agile, strong, with a predisposition towards speed: EXACTLY what I wanted as I had taken lessons and put hours and hours into improving my riding skills. The Gobi is vast, vast vistas that is dreamlike and introspective. There’s alot of driving and I mean a lot but the scenery is so beautiful that a person who hates car trips like myself, actually found this a favourite part of the journey. You sit and watch what I termed “Mongolvision” which changed every minute. I can’t explain clearly but I loved it. The tour guides picked for us by Tsatral were amazing, with the two stand outs being Luna and Ola. Without these two powerhouse ladies, our trip would have been lacking. Our divers were expert and amazing with great vehicles. When u say expert I really mean it as most roads are non roads and really off road 4x4 ing. Nadaam was really fun and the tickets Tsatral got us were very good and had good views of the main stage. What can I say except it was another dream come true for me to see The Hu playing as part of the opening ceremonies. For a seamless travel plan trust this company. Communication was amazing, a challenging journey made so so enjoyable and the Horse Nomad family chosen had such great horses. We loved our two lovely young guides. In the Gobi, some of the guesthouses weren’t our favorite as the masses of tourist can be a real turnoff but that is a limitation of the location and available lodging. One suggestion I have is clarify with Tsatral what lodging you prefer. We had wanted our own bathrooms and so went with the suggested Lux tourist accommodation. In Lake Husgal, this meant a house as opposed to a Ger which was so much more “luxurious” to our North American minds than a house. She’s really responsive and will make accommodations to personalize your tour. Finally, one last suggestion for those that seek more than the normal. Through Luna we were introduced to a traditional Mongolian Bow maker. And we had the option to buy a bow to take back with us to Canada. Truly customized tour with dream come true for both my husband and myself

My wife and my son choose 10 days Khuvsgul lake tour in the company of Byamba (driver) and Pagma (guide) on the way we pass through the beautiful landscape. This trip whilst a long drive was interspersed with fascinating visits to local people, enjoying a rich cultural experience from some of the kindest and most generous people on the earth. Our guide Pagma was incredibly knowledgeable and so proud of her people. It was a true pleasure to be with this team for the trip, and we all came away refreshed and cleansed of the city’s stresses and strains of life. Thanks a lot, Green Clover Tour. It was an amazing experience.
