I've been to many places worldwide and this is probably the most beautiful trip I've ever had... As a foreigner traveling to Tibet is only possible with a group - and I'd normally never book a group tour. But this one has been exceptional. A bit of luck with the group is also a must, but people traveling to Tibet are probably a bit of a different kind, a kind which is open, heartful and open to experience new things. Our "magic group" was lucky to see Mt. Chololangma (aka Everest) during clear weather with a just incredible sunset, witnessed a chanting with instruments session by the monks in the highest monastery worldwide, enjoyed the voice of our awesome driver Lhakpa whilst driving, enjoyed true Tibetan culture through many monasteries, Tibetan food with a local Tibetan family and so much more it would probably not fit into this review. All was made possible by our guide Dhargyal (aka Samsara - the wheel of life) who explained to us Tibetan culture in an easy and warm way. He cared for us throughout all the days and took extra steps along each milestone. The 10 days together felt as if everyone knew each other and more or less as if you went to a class trip as a teenager or if you were together with friends and family. Samsara was just awesome and made everything interesting and fun. Gave us more than enough tips (e.g. how to adjust to altitude, where to go, what to watch out for etc.), taught us proudly of his heritage and culture and showed us the Tibetan way of life. Speaking of the latter, I also want to give a big shoutout to Nini Cultural Experience Hall in Lhasa. This wasn't on our itinerary, but Samsara and the company gave us the opportunity to join their culture center to have a nice meditation, make our own incense, prayer flags and do some Sanskrit calligraphy. They were also so kind and are teaching Tibetan culture very in-depth. It was so nice to learn everything in a fun way. This is and much more is exactly what made the trip so special. Of course, next to all of the fun time we had, the landscape is just incredible. I've been to many places worldwide and literally teared up twice because if was so beautiful (which I've never done in my life). Seeing Mt. Chololangma (Everest) gave me goosebumps and Namtso lake literally made me think I might have died and woke up in heaven. The hotels were great, food was very good (mostly Tibetan) - I occasionally miss some Yak + milk tea haha. Of course, this is an adventure trip, so please don't expect to be pampered around the way (e.g. with Western toilets etc.). Really dive into the culture, get to know the people and their way of life. It really is another, very fascinating world. & it is 100% worth it. Thanks so much again to our guide Samsara, driver Lhakba, the company and everyone else involved. It was truly an honor and I cannot wait to hopefully visit again. (P.S. I never write reviews on Tripadvisor. But this trip has been so exceptional, and really Samsara, the trip agency and everyone involved went above and beyond so I more than happily want to promote them. Even though in my inner heart, I hope that Tibet, Lhasa and all the beautiful places won't become to overcrowded with tourists in the future...)

The itinerary was not respected, and I lost an entire day of my trip. On top of that, they tried to charge me an additional $200 without any valid reason. The tour guide’s knowledge was extremely poor, and the overall organization was chaotic. We were constantly unsure about our next destination and had to coordinate among ourselves just to figure out the plan for the following day. The company also grouped travelers with different itineraries together, which created confusion and disorganization throughout the entire 20-day trip. During the Mount Kailash trek, the guide abandoned the group, leaving us alone even though one member was seriously ill. The guide left the camp without ensuring that the sick travelers reached the hotel safely. Overall, it was an extremely poor experience and absolutely not worth the money. Do NOT recommend.

It was a very pleasant trip to Tibet, with a very rich schedule, including sights, temples, Tibetan life, and also the first time to experience the Tibetan Railway. Attractions include the Pearl Peak headquarters, where you can see the world's first peak from close distance. In addition, the Holy Gate is also a great view. The tour guide is very professional and attentive, each attraction will introduce its history, but also advise us not to buy fake souvenirs, and also passionate to help us take photos, the driver's technology is excellent, in short, this is a sensual cultural journey

The price for this trip was very reasonable, and the itinerary was exceptionally well-planned. The hotels were excellent, and the vehicle was very clean. Our driver was patient and friendly, and our tour guide Tin Tin was extremely professional and passionate. He explained the daily life of the Tibetan people very clearly, and even helped us take photos. He was also very humorous and treated us like friends. Furthermore, he gave us great advice on what was worth buying and what was overpriced. I would highly recommend this tour!

During this trip to Tibet, Choezom was more than just a guide—she was our "Plateau Guardian." Even before the official tour started, I developed altitude sickness shortly after arriving at the plateau. As soon as she found out, she rushed to my hotel immediately. She accompanied me to the hospital all the way, helped me communicate with the doctor about key notes, and even thoughtfully prepared glucose to relieve altitude sickness symptoms. Throughout the trip, she had an excellent command of the routes and told vivid, engaging stories about Tibetan culture. What mattered most was that she always prioritized our physical well-being. Having such a professional and caring guide made our plateau journey safe, secure, and unforgettable. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

It a good blend of cultural and natural elements. We visited monasteries of all 5 Tibetan Buddhism. The mountain ranges were breathtaking and unique. The temperature and weather are comfortable during October. Our guide Choezom, is fluent in English and easy to understand. She shares just enough information to keep you curious and not burdensome.

My first experience with Tibet Vista was a total success. The agency is very well organized, and their website offers many helpful tips to prepare for a Tibetan adventure. Holly Chan from the agency helped me plan this trip. She was professional, efficient, and always responsive despite the time difference. She managed to fulfil all my requirements, including booking a soft sleeper on the train back to Beijing, which made the journey very enjoyable. Once in Lhasa, we were lucky to have Keldor as our tour guide. He was very knowledgeable and caring—always helping with bags when needed and making sure we had enough water, oxygen, or ginger tea! Because he is also an amazing photographer, he knew the best spots for pictures and even took fantastic shots of us, both individually and in groups, capturing many special moments. Thank you, Keldor, for making our time in Tibet so memorable! I truly hope to return to Tibet one day. Whether for an excursion to Mount Kailash or a photography tour, I will definitely choose Tibet Vista again.
