This tour will take you to not only tourist attractions, but also to nice Japanese-style streets and back alleys. Please wear comfortable shoes.
Many places in Kyoto such as temples and taxis do not accept credit cards. Please be sure to have some Japanese yen ready before joining the tour.
＊On very hot summer days, it is recommended to change to Plan B course, which requires fewer steps and takes you to Chishakuin Temple( a hidden gem indoor temple) and Sanjusangendo Temple(famous for a forest of Buddhist statues).
The cab can accommodate four people. 3 guests + a guide, so if there are 4 guests, two taxis are required.
Important: Guests arriving by cruise ship must be able to travel to Kyoto Station on their own.

You can see the shining golden pavilion which used to be the political center of the Shogun(the head of Samurai warrior).It is one of the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage sites in Kyoto.

5.00I can’t begin to explain how amazing this tour with Yoshi was! We have done many tours around the world and this one by far stands out as the best and an experience we will never forget! Yoshi guided us with expert precision, knowledge, and joy. He made a special effort to connect with our boys to make the experience amazing for them as well. He has such a deep knowledge of the culture and history. We can’t imagine having toured the city alone, even though we would usually be confident to do so. We would have missed out on so incredibly much. We made a beautiful friend in Yoshi today. Thank you for making this day in Kyoto, the best of our trip to Japan!

5.00We had an incredible day in Kyoto with Kaori! Managing a group of six through 10 attractions via cabs and trains is no small feat, but Kaori kept us perfectly on schedule while sharing deep, fascinating insights at every stop. What truly set her apart was her dedication when things went sideways. She helped us track down and recover a cell phone left on a train and spent extra time resolving a technical issue with a Suica card. She is professional, highly informative, and goes above and beyond for her guests. If you’re visiting Kyoto, we cannot recommend Kaori highly enough!

5.00What a wonderful way to see the main sights of Kyoto. Our guide, Kaori , was very informative , passionate , and gave us a great insight into Kyoto’s history , customs and culture . She was also very kind and generous, offering us coins to use for blessings when we ran out & umbrellas when the rain came down in the afternoon. We would highly recommend this tour!

5.00Absolutely one of the best tour I have ever been on. Yoshi was the best know exactly when and where to go to be a step ahead of the crowd. He was very knowledgeable as well as entertaining during this tour. The sites where incredible !!!

5.00Akemi arrived promptly and from the moment we got into the taxi, she began to educate us on all the sites we were about to see. She is clearly a gifted teacher and we felt that we gained far more than the large tour groups we encountered. She knew her historical facts and could answer any questions we put to her. She was also extremely efficient organizing public transport which saved us a lot of time and stress. All in all, we give Akemi 10/10 and felt our money had been very well spent.

5.00My daughter and I chose this tour because we had only a short stay in Kyoto and wanted to see the must see spots in one day. Our guide Yoshi took us all around Kyoto on the bus, taxis, tram and subway to see the sights while giving us facts and insights along the way. He also took pictures of us and knew all of the shortcuts around the busy areas, and the best shops that give free samples. We had a wonderful time including lunch at a local ramen shop, and we never would have been able to do this without his expert guidance. Highly recommend!!!

5.00We had a wonderful day with Chihiro today. We saw many wonderful sites and it was a day well spent. Chihiro not only made tour fun, she helped find items on our shopping list as well. Chihiro speaks very good English and has an infectious laugh. I highly recommend this tour and Chihiro for a wonderful day in Kyoto.
