This tour will take you to not only tourist attractions, but also to nice Japanese-style streets and back alleys. Please wear comfortable shoes.

Many places in Kyoto such as temples and taxis do not accept credit cards. Please be sure to have some Japanese yen ready before joining the tour.

＊On very hot summer days, it is recommended to change to Plan B course, which requires fewer steps and takes you to Chishakuin Temple( a hidden gem indoor temple) and Sanjusangendo Temple(famous for a forest of Buddhist statues).

The cab can accommodate four people. 3 guests + a guide, so if there are 4 guests, two taxis are required.

Well organised tour with friendly and knowledgable guide. For those who enjoy seeing sights but are keen to leave time to do other things, this is a great way to see all of the sights of Kyoto.

We had a fabulous tour of Kyoto with Hiro! He was a knowledgeable and enthusiastic guide as well as a fun and friendly person to spend the day with. Hiro was thoughtful about our time and preferences and made sure we got to see everything we were excited about as well as spots we would never have known about without his help. He took us for a great lunch at a delicious local restaurant. We would highly recommend Hiro as a guide and this tour as a great way to see the highlights of Kyoto in a day!

Mikie was the best guide. We loved her. She took us to see all the most beautiful spots of Kyoto and explained all the cultural heritage behind each spot. She was very kind and introduced us to the best gelato and macha cookies in Kyoto. I also loved that she took us shopping to good stores and not to cheap touristic stuff which is horrible. We ate really good food at lunch too. She took many pictures for us which was very convenient. Thank you Mikie!!

This guide is totally incredible! Extremely knowlegable, kind, flexible, custom crafted out itinerary based on what we had already seen. Good combo of cabs and public transportation. Took us to a great lunch spot. She used to be a teacher, so she is very good at explaning things! We loved the tour and saw A LOT!!!!
