Many places in Kyoto such as temples and taxis do not accept credit cards. Please be sure to have some Japanese yen ready before joining the tour.
＊On very hot summer days, it is recommended to change to Plan B course, which requires fewer steps and takes you to Chishakuin Temple( a hidden gem indoor temple) and Sanjusangendo Temple(famous for a forest of Buddhist statues).
The cab can accommodate four people. 3 guests + a guide, so if there are 4 guests, two taxis are required.

5.00Our tour today with Hiro was spectacular. It was certainly hot, but he made sure we didnt over do it with lots of optional refreshing drink stops and clean bathroom breaks. However, he also made sure nothing we wanted to see or do was missed. His overall knowledge was outstanding. He also didn't miss opportunities to throw in some humor and never missed a photo opportunity. If you're looking for that tour or Kyoto, look no further and set up a tour you will remember with Hiro.

5.00Aya was a wonderful guide. She communicated well before the tour. Her English is great! She tailored the tour to our wishes while ensuring we saw the major highlights. It was extremely hot and Aya planned in nice breaks in cool locations. We stopped at an authentic Jspsnese restaurant and Aya was very helpful in guiding us through the menu. It was delicious. I highly recommend this tour with Aya!

5.00Taka met us at the agreed upon time and location and took us to all the places promised on this tour, and while a tad rushed (we had a few rain deluges along the way, Mother Nature tried to change our plans unsuccessfully) we got it all in. It was also super hot, and Taka was patient when we needed a little break to rest and cool off. If you have a short time in Kyoto, we highly recommend Taka and this tour!

5.00Our tour guide Chihiro was absolutely amazing she was so kind, sweet, and thoughtful throughout the entire day! It was really hot, but she went above and beyond by giving us refreshing tissues and ice packs to help us stay cool, which was such a thoughtful touch. The sites we visited were all incredible, and we had the chance to explore many beautiful temples. But my absolute favorite was the stunning bamboo forest , it felt like something out of a dream! I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone. If I could give it 10 stars, I absolutely would! There is nothing more real than honest review from 11 years old Sophie ❤️

5.00Mieko was the mvp of our trip. Her English is fantastic and she had all the knowledge. She made great recommendations for food and activities and this tour was the perfect way to get situated in Kyoto. I think it would have taken us 3 days to see everything we saw in one day. This tour and Mieko our guide are 10/10.
