This tour will take you to not only tourist attractions, but also to nice Japanese-style streets and back alleys. Please wear comfortable shoes.
Many places in Kyoto such as temples and taxis do not accept credit cards. Please be sure to have some Japanese yen ready before joining the tour.
＊On very hot summer days, it is recommended to change to Plan B course, which requires fewer steps and takes you to Chishakuin Temple( a hidden gem indoor temple) and Sanjusangendo Temple(famous for a forest of Buddhist statues).
The cab can accommodate four people. 3 guests + a guide, so if there are 4 guests, two taxis are required.
Attention: This tour is restricted to cruise ship guests who can independently reach Kyoto Station.

5.00We took the tour with Taka, who was a great guide. He was always ready with some historical or cultural insights that we would have been oblivious to. He also had a fun sense of humour and kept us laughing through the day. It is a long tour but the time went by pretty quickly as we moved from place to place. We highly recommend this tour if you have a limited time in Kyoto and want to hit some of the most significant places in one day.

5.00We had a wonderful day with Meiko and would highly recommend her as a tour guide. Meiko was kind, patient, knowledgeable and went above and beyond to help us learn and experience Kyoto, as well as make helpful recommendations. We learned a lot and enjoyed the immersion into the culture, experiences of Kyoto, including the temples/shrine, food, nature and city. Would definitely recommend. Arigato gozaimasu!

5.00We had an amazing experience during our 10 must see spots in Kyoto. This tour allows you to see every major attraction and with a private tour, you get more detailed explanations for every site. Our tour was even more memorable because of our wonderful guide, Yoshi! He was super knowledgeable and made the entire day go smoothly. He also kept things interesting with entertaining conversations and ensured he captured every memorable moment being our photographer as well, which was an added bonus! I would highly recommended this tour and even more so, recommend it because of Yoshi!
