As an architect, I (Natalie) focus on how urban planning, housing, materials, and spatial decisions reflect political ideas, social priorities, and moments of rupture in Berlin’s history.
Rather than moving quickly between highlights, the tour slows down to ask why the city looks the way it does, and what those choices meant for the people who lived here.
By focusing on the built environment, the tour offers a clearer, more grounded way of understanding the city. Through the built environment, the tour connects politics and history to everyday life.

5.00I had the BEST experience with Emma. She took us around town and we were able to learn great things about the culture and the history of the city. She is passionnate and she KNOWS her history. I am a history teacher, so I asked very difficult questions and she always gave quite insightful answers. She also gave us great recommendations for lunch spots and she helped us prepare our afternoon. Thank you so much Emma and auf wiedersehen.
