Piazza del Campo
Siena is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This piazza is the heart of Siena. This site revolutionised the idea of the medieval Italian piazza, having no spatial restrictions or conventional shape nor any symbolic balance of secular and religious power. Il Palio di siena è una secolare celebrazione, una competizione tra le Contrade di Siena, e ha origini antichissime: pensate che alcuni regolamenti, tutt’ora validi, risalgono al 1644, anno in cui venne corso il primo palio con i cavalli.
Ponte Vecchio
The evening is a great time to explore Florentine nightlife. Oltrarno, the other side of the Arno, is a great place to walk off your dinner.
Leaning Tower of Pisa

Piazza Maggiore
Bologna is the lively and ancient capital of Emilia-Romagna. Piazza Maggiore is a large square surrounded by arcades, bars, shops and medieval and Renaissance structures such as Palazzo d'Accursio, the Fountain of Neptune and the Basilica of San Petronio. Bologna has several nicknames – la dotta (the learned) and la rossa (the red, for its leftwing politics) - but it is la grassa (the fat) that’s perhaps the most fitting. Food is a very big deal here.
While Venice's splendid decay is undeniably charming by day, it's especially memorable after dark. Near the end of the day, the stifling crowds thin out as hordes of day tourists retreat to their cruise ships and mainland hotels. Then, as the sun goes down, a cool breeze blows in from the lagoon, the lanterns come on, the peeling plaster glows in the moonlight, and Venice resumes its position as Europe's most romantic city.

Basilica di San Marco
Venice is nestled on more than 100 small islands within a lagoon in the Adriatic Sea. In this city there are no roads but canals, including the Grand Canal, flanked by Renaissance and Gothic palaces. On the central square, Piazza San Marco, stands the Basilica of San Marco, enriched by Byzantine mosaics, and the bell tower of San Marco, from which you can admire the red roofs of the city.
The Doge's Palace was the seat of the Doge, one of the symbols of the city of Venice and a masterpiece of Venetian Gothic. The view from the Bridge of Sighs was the last view of Venice that convicts saw before their imprisonment. he bridge's name, given by Lord Byron as a translation from the Italian "Ponte dei sospiri" in the 19th century, comes from the suggestion that prisoners would sigh at their final view of beautiful Venice through the window before being taken down to their cells

Today it is the site of the Papal conclave, the process by which a new pope is selected. The fame of the Sistine Chapel lies mainly in the frescos that decorate the interior, and most particularly the Sistine Chapel ceiling and The Last Judgment by Michelangelo.
St. Peter's Basilica
The grandeur of the seventeenth-century façade by Carlo Maderno makes the idea of the gigantic dimensions of the Basilica of San Pietro, still one of the largest churches in the world. The dome designed by Michelangelo is surprising in size and harmony. Among the many masterpieces, absolutely not to be missed is Michelangelo's Pietà, the work that has amazed for centuries for its technique and emotion.

The excavations have brought to light a large quantity of finds of very valuable value. In 1748, during the reign of Charles III of Spain, the first excavation campaigns began in a systematic way, with a work that continues to this day.
The irregular and jagged coast of this peninsula, which seems to want to protect from the sea all the colorful houses and characteristic streets, will welcome you and welcome you in what many call a real paradise on earth. Had a fantastic time, was well organized, the accommodations were nice except for the hotel in Venice it really did not reflect a star hotel, our tour guide Sabrina along with bus driver Vincenzo and our private guide Sacha at Pompei were amazing!

We’ve always dreamed of seeing Italy, but the thought of coordinating travel, hotels, and activities across multiple cities felt overwhelming. Like many people, we were a bit hesitant at first due to the usual mix of online reviews, but the overall positive feedback convinced us to take the leap. The itinerary promised a full tour of Italy’s most iconic locations—Rome, Florence, Venice, the Amalfi Coast, and more (couple add on destinations) —while still allowing some free time to explore on our own. That balance was exactly what we were looking for. From the moment we arrived, everything was exceptionally well-organized. Our tour leader, Sabrina, was truly outstanding. She was professional, knowledgeable, warm, and attentive. Her passion for Italy came through in every city and every story she shared. Sabrina made us feel comfortable and cared for throughout the entire trip, and her attention to detail ensured everything ran smoothly. A special shoutout also goes to Franco, our expert bus driver. Navigating a large coach through Italy’s narrow streets and tight turns is no easy task, but he handled it all like a pro—with a calm confidence that put everyone at ease. This tour delivered exactly what it promised: a comprehensive, stress-free way to experience Italy's greatest hits, from ancient ruins and Renaissance art to charming coastal towns and unforgettable food. We made great memories, saw breathtaking sights, and met wonderful people along the way. If you’ve been wanting to explore Italy but are unsure where to start, we highly recommend this tour. It’s a perfect introduction to the country—and thanks to Sabrina and Franco, it was even better than we imagined

What an amazing trip!! Our tour guide, Sebrina, and bus driver, Johnny, were fantastic. Both were very friendly, professional and knowledgeable!! I feel like each tour we took was full of history, and Sebrina explained the history very well. She was also awesome at explaining exactly what was going to happen each day, made sure everyone understood the meeting times and places after free time. She went at a good pace for everyone. The included meals were delicious and it was also nice to venture out on our own for the non-included meals. Sebrina will give you suggestions if you ask. We were always very pleased when we followed her suggestions! I would recommend this trip to anyone that is considered a trip to Italy. We saw a little bit of many parts of Italy, which is what we wanted to experience. If you are lucky enough to get Sebrina as your guide, you will be blessed! We felt very safe with Johnny’s driving skills. Some of the very narrow roads with cliffs on the edge were pretty intense, but Johnny handled them beautifully! Thank you Sebrina and Johnny! You both made our trip very enjoyable and safe! Grazie!!

Our guide Sabrina and driver Gianni treated us so well, we couldn’t be happier! We have long dreamed of seeing Italy, but were a little reluctant about organized tours. The Tutta il Italia gave us the perfect taste of the entire country North to South, as well as the gorgeous Amalfi Coast! Wow! We now know that we want to come back and spend even more time in our favorite places! Thank you!

Pros: -Dimitri and Patricia were our guides for this trip. Both guides were exceptional and took very good care of us. -hotels were all 4 stars and also very good for the most part. -the places visited that were included in the tour package were all very exciting and historical. Cons -after booking this trip on Viator, I received ZERO information on what the details of the tour. Such as where and when the pick up is, what time the tour ends, what excursion tickets were included or not, what hotels were booked, what time the tour was supposed to end. I had to personally reach out to customer support to find the majority of these answers. Carrani Tours should provide more communication regarding the details of the package. -ALL optional excursions are CASH ONLY. I really wish Carrani Tours would make this more transparent because I would have brought more cash if I knew. Ended up taking a cash advance in Pisa which costed me commission fees. I did not find out it was cash only until day 2 of the tour when we were picked up by the guide. -one major con that pretty much everyone in the group disliked was after we were dropped off in Venice, the transportation back to the hotel was not included. We had to pay an extra €15 per person just to get back to our hotel. This was an optional excursion. If you are going to drop us off in the middle of an unfamiliar city, the transport back to our hotel should be included as part of the tour. -some of the pick up times on the welcome sheet is wrong. On day 8, the pick up time states 7:00Am, we were picked up at 7:30AM. Same thing happened on day 2, bus was not on time. Again, the tour company should do better with communication. Overall, I would still give this tour 4/5 stars because even though there are flaws, we were never left stranded alone because our tour guides were always there to help. for a while, I thought I got scammed because I received no confirmation or communication from Carrani Tours after paying $5800 USD for 2 people on viator. It was indeed a moment of relief when we showed up at the hotel in Rome and the front desk did have a reservation under our names.

Excellent tour. The hotels are 3-4 star but very clean and friendly. Almost everything you need for your stay. Bring a face cloth and Kleenex. The last day on Sorrento you’re given the choice at an extra cost to tour the Amalfi coast. That should be added into the tour with the extra cost at the beginning. The coach drivers and guides are friendly, helpful knowledgable and English speaking. Bring extra money for tips and hotel room taxes. 6-7 euros daily. I would recommend this tour. Being a solo traveller I was not solo for long. I was made to feel welcome from all the other travellers. A great way to see the highlights of Italy.
