This package includes 1 night in San José, 2 nights in Tortuguero, 2 nights in Caribe Sur, 2 nights in Arenal, 2 nights in Manuel Antonio or Punta Leona and 1 night in San José. Welcome to San Jose, Costa Rica. Reception at Juan Santamaria airport and transfer to hotel in San Jose. The capital of San Jose is located in the middle of the Central Valley and in the center of the country, considered one of the most cosmopolitan cities in Latin America. The city is located in a strategic point near the main tourist attractions such as: historic buildings, museums, theaters, craft markets, beautiful parks, shopping centers and offers a varied gastronomic offer. This day there are no meals included.
DAY 2. SAN JOSE – TORTUGUERO

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure in the morning where you will cross the Braulio Carrillo National Park, which is the largest in the central region, until you reach the Guápiles area where you will enjoy a delicious typical breakfast. On the way, you will pass through banana plantations until you reach the pier where you will board your boat. From here the boat trip will continue crossing rivers and canals, approximately an hour and a half until arriving at the hotel for lunch time. In the afternoon, guided tour of the picturesque town of Tortuguero. Dinner included in the lodge.
DAY 3. TORTUGUERO

Tortuguero National Park
Guided morning walk on the lodge's private trails. Free time to enjoy the facilities before lunch. In the afternoon, boat tour through the canals of the Tortuguero National Park. Tortuguero National Park is one of the wild areas with the greatest biological biodiversity, famous for being the habitat of seven species of turtles, surrounded by tropical forests and exuberant fauna. We also recommend the nighttime turtle nesting excursion. Dinner included.

Puerto Limon
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure in the afternoon to the Southern Caribbean, a place to visit the different beaches that surround it. The coral reefs of Playa Cahuita stand out, as well as the multicolored sand beaches (from black, yellow and gray), coastal vegetation and medium-height forests. Don't forget to interact with the locals and learn a little about their customs and traditions. Likewise, we invite you to try the Patí or the Rice & Beans that will leave you with a Caribbean flavor to remember.

Breakfast at the hotel. Free day to enjoy the beautiful beaches, covered with tropical vegetation and allowing a mix of adventure activities and natural history that is definitely complemented by culture, gastronomy and music. The coral reefs, multicolored sand beaches (from black, yellow and gray), coastal vegetation and medium-height forests stand out.

La Fortuna de San Carlos
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure in the morning to La Fortuna, here the impressive Arenal Volcano awaits you, one of the natural wonders of the country due to its majesty. Today there are no lava eruptions, but you can still see the smoke and ash that spews out of the top of the volcano. The Arenal Volcano region is an exquisite destination for its attractive landscape, its hot springs and Lake Arenal. During the tour you will be able to see agricultural plantations, ornamental plants and livestock farms.

Arenal Volcano National Park
Breakfast at the hotel. We will visit the La Fortuna waterfall, here we will have a view of its 70 m. high and a 500-step walk to the base where a "natural pool" awaits if you want to swim in the fresh water of the La Fortuna River. Then, we will have lunch at an organic production farm near La Fortuna. At 3:00 p.m., we continue to the Arenal 1968 Park, here the guide will tell about the natural and geological history of the volcano, walk along a solid lava path and enjoy an excellent view of the Arenal Lake and Volcano.
DAY 8. MANUEL ANTONIO

Manuel Antonio
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure in the morning to Manuel Antonio, destination where you can find the Manuel Antonio National Park, which is considered one of natural jewels for its abundant diversity of wildlife. It is the smallest of the national parks in Costa Rica but also one of the most visited for its beautiful beaches. It has several walking trails, viewpoints and the probability of encountering animals in their natural habitat. At various points in the park, trails branch out and lead to four separate beaches: Espadilla Sur, Manuel Antonio, Escondida and Playita.

5.00We had a very good and pleasant experience, the itinerary was accomplished as planned without hassles. We were received at the airport and in all cordiality we were informed about the details of the circuit, clarifying the doubts we had about it. The schedules established for each transfer were precisely met, in comfortable vehicles with Wi-Fi and careful Service. We were very satisfied with our trip through Costa Rica, where we met beautiful places and incredible landscapes, enjoying tasty gastronomy and especially the warmth and cordiality of the ticos. The work of Mayke and his team is highlighted, who provided excellent assistance during our stay in the different areas of Costa Rica Highly recommended.

5.00Arranging the trip with Best of Costa Rica was perfect!!! It has been a spectacular trip!! The chauffeurs and guides have been very tense and very pleasant. Coordination between travel, hotels and activities has been perfect. The small incidents that always arise on such long and complicated journeys have always been solved with a smile and in a simple way. 5.00We had an amazing time! (I’m used to planning every detail of our trips myself, so having another person set us up was a new experience for me.) Stephen was great at establishing our itinerary and support us along the way. He even helped us to organize our stay at a couple of different areas after we had completed our original itinerary. Great communication! The transportation between locations was also handled very well well. I was a little concerned that we were traveling in the wet season, but should not have been worried. We were pleasantly surprised that we had so much time without rain. The tropical showers we did have only added to the overall experience Will not hesitate to book a trip through Viator again.

5.00We stayed 15 days, touring incredible places of Costa Rica, mountains, volcanoes, beaches, rivers, the spectacular company, took us from one place to another, hotels, walks in short everything!!! And thanks to Steven and Maikel, who were waiting to solve any inconvenience, like we left a bag in a hotel and saw that we recovered it!!! Thank you very much, and I would not hesitate to hire this company again!!

5.00Honeymoon trip in which we toured Tortuguero, Arenal, Monteverde and Guanacaste. Leaving aside the magic and how special that is, we have felt very safe from day one thanks to Best Of Costa Rica, especially Steven, who already contacted me a week before the trip to give information and came to the hotel the first night to expand it and solve any doubts. The trip was very well scheduled, picking us up at the hotels and going with drivers and guides throughout the agency. Still, Mr. Steven answered any message immediately whatever the time, advised us on new excursions and fixed a drawback for my carelessness in no time. Without a doubt, the trip is already amazing, but thanks to its management it made us feel very safe at all times.
