Masherbrum peak (7821m), also known as K1, is a uniquely shaped mountain whose snow-capped tip evokes trepidation and awe. Beyond the Hushe village lies the overshadowing presence of Masherbrum and a trail leading to the summer pastures of Hushe villagers. This short & easy trekking into the heart of the Karakorams is recommended to adventurers of all levels and ages. The only glacier point walking is a straightforward 30-minute section before the base camp.

Arrival Islamabad

Islamabad

Arrival at Islamabad International airport and transfer to the hotel. Participants will enjoy leisure time to relax and recover from the journey on this day.

Islamabad – Skardu

Skardu

Fly from Islamabad airport to Skardu (1-hour scenic flight). Free day for sightseeing and necessary purchasing from Skardu Bazar. We will visit Manthal Rock Budha, Kharpocho fort, Organic village and Skardu Bazar. Or In case of flight cancellation due to weather, drive from Islamabad via Karakoram Highway with short stops at various touristic spots.

Skardu-Hushe

Hushe Valley

After breakfast at hotel we will drive to Hushe valley. Passing through small villages and witness diverse cultural heritage of the Ganche district. We will have short stops at the meeting point of Shayok & Indus Rivers, Thorgo Pari, and Sailing. Check into the hotel and have free time in the evening.

Hushe-Dumsum

Hushe Valley

Trek from Hushe to Dumsum (3400m) through the beautiful Hushey village. Fix the campsite and after lunch do optional hike to Aling glacier (1 -2 hours). Leisure time in the afternoon for natural exploration. Overnight in camps.

Dumsum - Brumbramah

Hushe Valley

Trek through the dense jungle and parallel to the Masherbrum Glacier to Brumbramah (3950m).

Brumbramah – Masherbrum Base Camp

Hushe Valley

After breakfast at campsite, start trek to Masherbrum base camp (4200m) through a beautiful trail, parallel to Masherbrum glacier. Free time to in the afternoon to visit the base camp lake and nearby view points.

Hushe Valley

Trek back to Dumsum (3400m) with short stops for photography.

Dumsum – Hushe - Skard

Skardu

Trek back to Hushe and drive to Khaplu. Enjoy lunch at Khaplu fort, then drive to Skardu & check into the hotel.

Morning flight to Islamabad Airport. Afternoon free for sightseeing

Islamabad

Flight time to Islamabad from Skardu is 40 mins, After lunch, the rest of the day is free for independent sightseeing or to relax at the hotel. Your trip leader guided tours will advise you on the possibilities for sightseeing. Shopping for hand-made rugs is a usually popular option. This evening we come together again for a celebratory meal at the hotel or in a local restaurant.

Contingency Day in case of delays.

Islamabad

If we cannot fly due to the weather, we will travel down to Islamabad by road. If we fly from Skardu to Islamabad, we will enjoy sightseeing in the capital, or your leader will advise you on the options such as day excursion to the Taxila museum and archaeological sites.

what a magical and mesmerizing place it was. Absolutely in love with the northern areas of Pakistan. the trip was full of adventures, fun, and thrill. I would highly recommend this tour and the team. would definitely visit soon again.
