Forbidden City-The Palace Museum

Forbidden City was formerly known as the Imperial Palace, which covers an area of over 720,000 m², has more than 9,000 buildings and construction area of 150,000 square meters. Forbidden City was the imperial palace of the Ming and Qing dynasties, is the existing China's largest and most complete ancient buildings. It was first built in 1406 and finished in 1420. In its 500 years of history, there were 24 emperors living here. Experiencing several times renovation and expansion during the Ming and Qing dynasties, the Forbidden City is still remaining its original layout.

Temple of Heaven

The Temple of Heaven was the most important of Beijing's imperial temples. It was where emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties (from 1420 to 1900) worshiped the god of heaven and prayed for good harvests.

Mutianyu Great Wall

Mutianyu Great Wall is one of the best-preserved and best-known Great Wall sections. The Great Wall at Mutianyu has breath-taking scenery but less tourists, thus a good destination on hot holidays for a Great Wall tour at ease.

Olympic Park

Water Cube

Summer Palace (Yiheyuan)

Chongqing Qutang Gorge

The Three Gorges Dam Site is 27 miles upstream from Yichang City proper, at Sandouping Town, 38km upstream from the Gezhouba Dam Lock, inside the third of the Three Gorges.

Jade Buddha Temple

Jade Buddha Temple is located in a crowd of Shanghai City. It was first built in 1882 in Jiangwan on the southern outskirts of Shanghai. At that time, a 1.9-metre-high white jade Buddha was installed here after a monk had brought it from Burma to Zhejiang Province in 1882.

Oriental Pearl Tower (Dongfang Mingzhu)

Shanghai Oriental Pearl TV Tower has become a landmark of excellence in architecture and is a favourite sight for tourists in Shanghai. At 468 meters, it is the third tallest TV and radio tower in the World. The tower is composed of the tower base with three batter posts, and three standing pillars, within which are elevators, holding 11 steel-structures creates the poetic conception as described in the old line "large and small pearls dropping onto a jade plate".

Yu Garden (Yuyuan)

Yuyuan Garden is the only fully restored classical Chinese garden in Shanghai. It was inaugurated in the Ming dynasty and has a total area of 20,000 square meters. Although the Garden occupies less than five acres, demonstrates perfectly the sophisticated art of combining several different elements to create a world in miniature - ingeniously mingling pavilions and corridors, small hills and carefully selected and well-placed rocks, lotus ponds, bridges, winding paths, and trees and shrubs.

Nanjing Lu (Nanjing Road)

Nanjing Road, 5.5 km in full length, enjoys the reputation as China No.1 commercial center. It was the earliest commercial street in Shanghai since the city opened to the outside world. The street stretches across the central city of Shanghai and next to Huangpu River in the east, the cross point of Jing'an Temple and West Yan'an Road. The road is divided into east and west parts by Xizang Road. On both sides of the street, there are more than 360 malls, department stores, specialized shops, restaurants and cultural and recreational facilities, which receive more than 1.5 million customers everyday. In the day - time, the street is crowned with visitors and when the night falls, the colorful neon lights make the street more attractive.

The Bund (Wai Tan)

The Bund is located along the Huangpu River which is located in the Huangpu District, the center of Shanghai. It is the scenery line of Shanghai. In the opposite across the Huangpu River,it has a few Shanghai landmarks like Shanghai Tower, Shanghai World Finacial Centre, Oriental Pearl TV Tower and Jinmao Tower, which are among those most famous buildings in China.
