Our 12 Days North Ethiopia & Danakil Depression Tour was truly the adventure of a lifetime! From start to finish, everything was perfectly organized. Exploring the historic treasures of North Ethiopia — especially the rock-hewn churches of Lalibela, the castles of Gondar, and the breathtaking landscapes of the Simien Mountains — was an unforgettable experience. Every destination felt unique, rich in history, culture, and natural beauty. The highlight, of course, was the Danakil Depression. Visiting Erta Ale volcano and witnessing the active lava lake at night was absolutely surreal. Walking through the colorful sulfur springs of Dallol felt like stepping onto another planet. Despite the extreme environment, the tour team ensured our safety and comfort at all times. Our guides were incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive. They shared deep insights into Ethiopia’s history and culture, making each site even more meaningful. The drivers were skilled, the logistics were smooth, and the accommodations exceeded our expectations — especially considering the remote locations. What truly stood out was the warmth and hospitality of the people. We felt welcomed everywhere we went. If you're looking for adventure, history, stunning landscapes, and a well-organized tour company, I highly recommend this 12-day North Ethiopia and Danakil Depression tour. It’s an experience we will cherish forever!
