Departing at 12:00 noon from Galway, you will travel in comfort through one of the most scenic landscapes in Ireland; the lunar-like Burren. Walk, explore and wonder at the ageless beauty of this extraordinary vista and take in the beauty of the Cliffs of Moher, one of the top 10 natural sites in the world.
You will receive free entry to the Cliffs of Moher and have a full 2 hours to enjoy leisurely walks along the coastal pathways & the eco-sensitive Visitor Centre where you can experience the Atlantic Edge, a virtual reality cliff face adventure.
We then make a lunch stop at the quaint fishing village of Doolin for approximately 45-50 minutes. We also visit Ballyreen, where you can walk along the limestone Burren landscape before returning to Galway using the Wild Atlantic Way route alongside the edge of the world-famous Galway Bay, one of the most beautiful coastlines in Ireland, stopping for a photo along the way before arriving to Galway at approximately 18:45.

Cliffs of Moher
The magnificent cliffs of Moher are one of Ireland’s most spectacular sights, and they reach a height of 700 feet. On a clear day, you can see for miles, and some of the sights include the Aran Islands, Galway Bay, and the hills and valleys of Connemara. On the edge of the cliffs, you can hear the waves crashing as they eat into the sandstone and shale. You’ll also get to hear plenty of birds as the Cliffs of Moher are home to lots of different species including puffins, guillemots, gannets, and more. From O’Brien’s Tower, you’ll be able to take in the magnificent views of the face of the cliffs. You’ll also get to spend time in the visitor centre. Included in your Tour is the entrance fees for the Cliffs of Moher.

5.00Tommy was very funny and knowledgeable. We were a smaller bus which was perfect, a more intimate experience. It was a great way to see and learn about the Cliffs without needing to drive and we enjoyed the late lunch in Doolin very much.

5.00Derek was a great host, entertaining with facts and jokes on the drive to the cliffs, which were amazing to see. The stop for a late lunch in the McGann's pub in Doolin was cosy and felt like a great local find with delicious food (I had the beef stew). The coach was also comfy and had charging ports, always handy. An easy and comfy way to visit the cliffs of Moher on a day trip from Galway, would highly recommend as a solo traveller!

5.00I tagged along my daughter’s business trip to Galway and wanted to visit the Cliffs of Moher but didn’t want to drive myself on narrow roads on the “opposite side” of the road so I booked this trip. It was perfect! I had the morning to sleep in and sightsee on my own, getting on the shuttle near Eyre Square was convenient, the shuttle van seats were comfy and had USB chargers, the driver was friendly, spoke clearly, and shared interesting info about what we were seeing (which I never would have known had I driven myself)! The time we had at the Cliffs, Doolin and through the Burren were just right for me to see everything, do some shopping, and get a bite to eat but if you prefer to leisurely stroll or hang out, it may be too tight a timeframe. Highly recommend!

4.00We visited on October 9, 2025 it was a cloudy day no rain but very windy. A lot of walking and steep hills. Our driver Derick was very nice, funny told us stories. We stopped at a pub for a late lunch early dinner. We ate beef stew and seafood chowder with a pint. The waitress was very efficient and the food was delicious!

5.00If you’re prone to motion sickness, I highly recommend making sure you sit in the front seat and are prepared with gravol, or your choice of anti-nausea medication. The roads are quite windy and the bus is quite bouncy. I am prone to motion sickness and had taken gravel and done what I usually do before getting on a bus of any kind and still got very very motion sick. Our tour guide Anthony was super helpful and very kind. Anthony handled all of the roads with absolute precision and did such an amazing job. He’s very knowledgable about all of the history and fun facts and made a conscious effort to answer all of our questions. The view and the experience at the cliffs was amazing as was the trip home when we stopped at a local pub they were quick and efficient and made it a breeze for everyone to have a pint and a meal before we headed back home. I highly highly recommend doing this excursion if you’re going to do any while in Ireland.

5.00Breathtaking scenery along the Wild Atlantic Way; and altho it was raining and foggy when we arrived at the Cliffs, the fog lifted and we were able to see the spectacular views. Just amazing!
