We had Monica plan the tour with Responsible Travel. She took all our wishes, expectations and special requests, communicated very well to the various hotels and left no question unanswered. In addition to the rainforest Monica booked us a cruise on the Galapagos Islands which was incredibly beautiful and truly unique. We felt 7 days like in a nature documentary. We also spent time in the highlands (on the Chimborazo and Cotopaxi) and at Choco Andino (in the cloud forest). Again, everything was very well planned by Monica, all the hotels she booked for us were very good, the food was great (even as a vegetarian) and our guide Cristian told us a lot about his country and its people. Even in minor emergencies Monica was always available for us during the trip and was in constant exchange with our guide. She left nothing to chance. The domestic flights and the entry forms for the Galapagos Islands were also booked and prepared for us, so we really had to do little ourselves and the holiday feeling became much greater. We would definitely travel again with Responsible Travel and would be very happy to have Monica by our side again.

The organisation of the trip was just perfect, all reservations and arrangement worked out fine. The guides had a profound knowledge of nature and cultural history and communicated very effectively throughout the trip. The guide's driving style was extremely safe and defensive on the not always great roads. Our guide also managed to give us a feeling of safety (despite the state of emergency for the whole of Ecuador during our trip) so that we were able to enjoy the trip to the full. The person in charge at Sustainable Travel was very responsive and enquired about our well-being almost every day. She catered to our wishes as early as the trip preparation stage and made great suggestions. The price-performance ratio was perfect and we can recommend Sustainable Travel with a clear conscience. Thank you very much for these wonderful days in Ecuador, a country with warm people and fantastic natural beauty, from the sea to the Chimborazo. Best regards Francianne and Bernhard Huwiler (Switzerland)
