This safari takes you to Murchison Falls. Expect Big 5, launch trip to the bottom of the falls. Proceed to Kibale for chimp habituation and thereafter enter Queen Elizabeth National Park. Here, you expect more game drive and launch trip on the Kazinga Channel. The safari continues to Bwindi for the ultimate gorilla experience. You will exit Bwindi for relaxation in Lake Mutanda. Head to Lake Mburo NP where you will enjoy a boat ride or park walk. Travel back to Entebbe for your outbound flight.

Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport you will be received by Tubale safari driver/guide who will welcome you to Uganda – the Pearl of Africa. Thereafter, you will be transferred to the booked accommodation in Kampala. In case you have had an early landing into Uganda, you may opt for a late afternoon ride around the city of Kampala. Else, check-in and have enough rest awaiting dinner and overnight stay.

Your driver/guide will pick you from the accommodation and you will head out for Murchison Falls NP. The highlights of this park include: the roaring rapids of the Murchison Falls, the rolling plains of Uganda’s largest National Park where you wil have the chance of viewing lions, giraffes, hartebeest, buffalo, and elephants. Then surely you will be fascinated by the concentration of hippos and the Nile crocodiles here. En route, make a visit to Zziwa Rhino sanctuary. You will have at least one hour of rhino tracking while here. Another stop will be in Masindi in order to enjoy your lunch. Continue to the park and check into your accommodation to relax for the Evening.

Have your breakfast, depart for an early morning game drive across the rolling plains of Uganda’s largest National Park where you will have the opportunity of viewing lions, giraffes, hartebeest, buffalo and elephants among others. For any birder, this area supports the secretary bird and black chested snake eagle to name a few. Return to your accommodation for some rest time and lunch. After lunch you will head out for the boat trip to the base of Murchison Falls where you will also be able to catch sight of more animals including Hippos and Crocodiles and several water birds. Continue with a hike (if you like) to the top of the falls. The hike may be a strenuous one but the thrill on reaching the top is unforgettable. Miss it only if you must. Return to your accommodation and have a relaxed evening.

After breakfast at your accommodation, depart right away for Kibale Forest National Park. The drive is incredibly scenic, passing through villages, lush green countryside and hills dotted with tea plantations which characterize this part of Uganda. Kibale NP is popular for its primates like the chimpanzees, colobus monkeys, grey cheeked mangabeys and red tailed monkeys. On your chimpanzee trails, these are regularly seen swinging in the forest trees and others feeding on the wild fruits. You will reach and do little but check into your accommodation where you will have dinner and the overnight rest.

Have breakfast at the accommodation and proceed out for a lifetime experience of chimp habituation in Kibale Forest. The activity allows you to accompany Kibale’s research and habituation team on their daily activities. You will spend a greater part of the day in the presence of these amazing human closest relation with the wild and witness them nesting, de-nesting, feeding, playing etc. while getting first hand explanation of the experts on the ground. Later, return to the accommodation for relaxation with spectacular view of Kibale features right in front of you.

Have a relaxed breakfast at the accommodation and drive off to Queen Elizabeth NP. You will reach Queen early enough to relax, have lunch and in the afternoon proceed out for game viewing. During the game drive, look out for wild animals like: reedbuck, bushbuck, Kob, warthogs, elephants, lions and buffaloes to mention but a few. Alternatively, you could choose to go for the Queen’s breathtaking explosion crater drive (instead). The drive is basically sightseeing with very spectacular view of the breathtaking scenery in and around Queen. There is also plenty of wildlife to see along the drive although commonest are sights of Cape Buffaloes plus Elephants.

Have breakfast then set off for a breathtaking game viewing experience in the Ishasha area of Queen Elizabeth National Park – famously known for its resident tree-climbing lions. The chance of spotting these lions is about 70% though sometimes they are really hard to spot (most especially when they’re down in the grassland looking for prey). Hoping you get the chance to spot them, the sight will be spectacular! You will also be able to see other wildlife such as the Uganda Kob, Cape buffalos, elephants and warthogs in addition to the tree-climbing lions. Thereafter, head to the accommodation for relaxation, dinner and later overnight.

Be up and have your breakfast served. Go for more tree-climbing lions’ sighting and thereafter transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Bwindi is a big habitat for mountain gorillas in Uganda (harboring an estimated 400 mountain gorillas – roughly half of the world’s population), including several habituated groups, which can be tracked. With a strenuous day ahead, you will do less on arrival but just check-in your accommodation, relax as you prepare for the Bwindi gorilla trekking experience the following day.

After an early breakfast and a briefing by a ranger guide, you will enter the gorilla sanctuary for your adventure. The beauty of this rain forest is spectacular! The area offers dramatic steeply forested landscape and is incredibly dense, but crisscrossed by numerous animal trails allowing access to tourists. The time taken and the terrain vary with the movements of these great primates. Once you locate a gorilla group, you will be allowed an hour in their presence. The thrill of spending time observing these gentle and endangered giants is an awesome, exciting experience to be long savored. Return to your lodge for some rest time and lunch. Thereafter, embark on a transfer to Mutanda Lake Resort for an overnight stay. Perched on a Lake Mutanda peninsula in the shadow of the Virunga Mountains, the resort offers comfortable accommodation combined with the most spectacular views on planet earth.

Have your breakfast and proceed out to discover Lake Mutanda’s many islands in a traditional dug-out canoe (like a local fisherman). The canoe trek on Lake Mutanda is planned for at most 3- hours. Thereafter, return to the accommodation for some rest time and lunch. Take the afternoon hours relaxing at the Mutanda Lake Resort while enjoying some spectacular view of the scenery in and around Mutanda.

Have breakfast and set off to Lake Mburo NP. Drive past the intensely terraced Kigezi hill slopes into Mbarara town and finally Lake Mburo NP. Arrive in the park in the early afternoon and take some rest before proceeding out for the late afternoon (evening) game viewing. On the game drive, expect to see the gigantic eland antelopes, zebras in big numbers, topis, impalas, warthogs, Uganda Kob and Cape buffalos among others. Later, relax at the accommodation where you will spend the night.

Enjoy your early breakfast and proceed for the Mburo morning park/nature walk in the presence of an armed Uganda Wildlife Authority ranger/guide. On this early morning guided walk, you often encounter hyenas that are returning to their dens after a night of being on the prowl. Also, you will have the opportunity to encounter (at close range): Zebras, Giraffes and Eland, Topi and other antelopes, Cape buffaloes among others. Take the Trail to the top of the hills and see Lake Mburo and beyond. From this vantage point, you will have a great view of 9 of the twelve lakes surrounding Lake Mburo

On your way back to Entebbe you will have a stopover for a photo moment at the equator.

5.00While our trip was over a while ago, we keep going over the fond memories we made in our extraordinary visit to Uganda. From the breathtaking wildlife, the delicious food, the kind people, the beautiful hotels, to our amazing guide Jamal, we had a truly unforgettable experience. Everything worked seamlessly starting with the communication with Annette, our Travel Consultant, who always provided us with fast answers and accommodated all our requests to tailor our dream trip. We chose a mid-range budget option, with a variety of hotels, and we never lacked for comforts - we always felt very well taken care of, and we got to experience some of the dreamiest hotels. The key piece of our trip was our incredible guide Jamal. He is very experienced, fun to talk to, a confident and safe driver, extremely knowledgable in everything about Uganda - especially the animals!!! - and eagle-eyed in spotting all the species. When a personal situation forced us to make ad-hoc stops and detours, Jamal was incredibly acommodating and understanding, doing everything he could to support us. We wholeheartedly recommend this 11-day trip to anyone. Go for the magnificent gorillas, but don't miss out on the endearing chimpanzees and the unique shoebill near Entebbe. Uganda truly is the pearl of Africa, and Tubale the perfect option to discover it.

5.00Note: Our trip was in February 2025. Even though our trip took place more than a year ago, we keep on going over all of the fond memories of our time in Uganda. From the breathtaking wildlife, delicious food, extraordinary hotels and the most amazing and knowledgeable guide, Jamal, we had the most unforgettable experience. The trip was perfect in every step: starting with the seamless communication with Annette, our Travel Consultant, who answered always very fast and was extremely accommodating to all of our desires in terms of trip customization. 5.00We had a fantastic time on our Uganda trip. The itinerary was excellent, the right combination of safaris and relaxation. Isaac was our driver/ guide and looked after us really well. Anette was very easy to get in touch with and was very responsive when we needed help. She kept checking we were happy and quickly provided a response when we were not so happy with one if the lodges. As this trip was our honeymoon, she made sure all of the lodges were informed, and most made us feel very special. She went over and beyond to accommodate us and Tubale offered us excellent value for money compared to many other international agencies. I would highly. recommend Tubale Safaris without reservation.

5.00We’ve had a great 7-day tour of Uganda that included the Rhinos, the Big five at Murchison Falls National Park and Queen Elizabeth , Chimpanzees, as well as Gorilla tracking. Annet did a great job at organizing our trip on a short notice. Our guide Isaac was a fantastic tour guide - he was very friendly, organized, an excellent driver and incredibly well connected with the rangers and other guides at the parks, which helped a lot in seeing all animals we wanted to see. We’re already planning to come back next year with a bigger group and more Safari days with Tubale Safaris. Highly recommend!

5.00Our guide Denison was fantastic—friendly, knowledgeable, and full of fun. Every moment of the trip felt special, from the incredible gorilla trek (truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience!) to the breathtaking Murchison Falls, where we watched the Nile roar through the rocks in a spectacular display of nature’s power. We saw so much wildlife—lions, elephants, colorful birds—and the whole trip was smooth and perfectly organized. Denison made sure we were always in the right place at the right time, and his passion for Uganda really shined through. Couldn’t recommend Tubale Safaris more. Pure joy from start to finish!

5.00I thank Annet and Isaac the guide for the patience it takes with a customer like me. The trip was BEAUTIFUL (two weeks without stopping .. and unfortunately we have not even seen everything there is to see .. like East Uganda). I didn't think I could feel so calm in the deepest Africa, on the border between Congo and Rwanda. My daughter Ginevra (who is still a teenager) and my wife Simona thank Tubale Safaris. I think such a wide variety of animals (including birds .. butterflies etc. besides Obviously primates and mammals), we haven't seen it even in the Serengeti. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Ps. wear the long-sleeved or short-sleeved shirt without problems, while in Italy the humid heat is priceless... and see 3 Leopards in one evening and one in the morning in the park of Lake Mburo was remarkable What did I understand? That smile is a tool of great maturity that really has power I also translate into English I thank Annet and the guide Isaac for the patience that is needed with a client like me. 5.00Our trip with Tubale was truly incredible. They took care of every detail with such thoughtfulness. From the planning stage, Annette was always responsive, helpful, and incredibly kind. And during our trip, they went above and beyond to make our experience perfect. Our guide, Herman, was outstanding. He took great care of us—not just with the big things, like expertly navigating the parks to give us the best opportunities to see wildlife, but also with the small details, like surprising us with fresh pineapple for snacks and ensuring we always had water. I celebrated my birthday during this trip, and Tubale made it so special. The game drives and treks with rhinos, chimpanzees, and gorillas were absolutely incredible. Each accommodation was fantastic, with great food and even better staff. We felt truly welcomed and comfortable everywhere we stayed. I could go on and on and still wouldn't be able to say enough wonderful things about this experience. This was truly a trip of a lifetime, and choosing Tubale was the best decision. If you're considering a trip, we couldn't recommend them more highly!

5.00This company surpassed all our expectations. I have been on several Safari tours to Uganda but this time we decided to book with Tubale Safaris and it's the best decision we have ever made. Everything was well organized from Start to finish and the Guide very professional, accommodations booked for us we're all excellent. I will definitely be touring with Tubale Safaris again. Highly recommended.
