Mabamba Swamp Shoebill Bird Watching

Today after your breakfast, you will visit Mabamba swamp on Lake Victoria famous for its elusive shoebill stork, on this wetland, they several other shore birds such as great cormorant, yellow billed stork, yellow billed ducks, lesser jacana, black crake, black headed gonolek, maroub stork and grey heron among others. After a successful shoebill viewing, embark on the trip to Ziwa rhino sanctuary. You traverse through the undulating hill slopes of Nakasongola before branching off at Nakitoma for 7 km to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary just 176km north of Kampala. Ziwa Rhino and Wildlife Ranch is the proud home of the only wild rhinos in Uganda following their extinction and thus offers an unforgettable Rhino tracking experience. Ziwa is the only place where you will be able to see rhinos in the wild.

Murchison Falls National Park

After breakfast at your lodge, Start rhino walking safari with armed ranger guide. Ziwa Rhino and Wildlife Ranch is the proud home of the only wild rhinos in Uganda following their extinction and thus offers an unforgettable Rhino tracking experience. Ziwa is the only place where you will be able to see rhinos in the wild. Presently the sanctuary is home to over twenty (35) southern white Rhinos. The sanctuary has become increasingly popular with tourists; for rhino trekking, bird watching, nature walks and relaxation. After a walking safari, you will continue on the drive to Murchison Falls National Park and visit top of falls where the park derives its name from.

Murchison Falls National Park

At dawn, you will wake up to a hot delicious breakfast back at your lodge. You will then embark on a morning game drive in the park. This game drive experience will introduce you to various wildlife species as they brass themselves for the day’s classics of survival. Y You will journey through the elephant gardens and the tall acacia trees the giraffes’ favorite. Expect you to spot animals like lions, buffaloes, elephants, giraffes, leopards, hyenas, warthogs, antelopes, waterbucks, etc. As you finalize your game drive adventure, you will head to Murchison Falls, the world’s strongest waterfall. After your delicious meal, you will head downstream for the afternoon boat cruise on the Victoria Nile. This boat cruise will open the door to the aquatic life of the park. You will encounter aquatic species like hippos and crocodiles with other species like buffaloes, elephants, and waterbucks on the banks of the river to quench their thirst.

Kibale National Park

At Cockcrow, you will be served a delicious breakfast. Our driver guide will be on time to check you out of your lodge for the next adventure. You will then set out to Kibale Forest National Park. Enjoy the countryside views as you journey across while you observe the lifestyle of the locals like the way they trade and interact. Have a brief stopover for lunch along the way. This will be a great experience to taste the local cuisines. As you extend closer to Kibale National Park, the landscape suddenly changes as you venture through an avenue of forests on either side of the road. At dusk, you will be checking into your lodge inside Kibale Forest National Park

Kibale National Park

As the day breaks from the night, you will have an early breakfast to prepare you for the day’s activities. You will be transferred to the park offices for a pre-habituation briefing before assigning you to a guide ranger. This briefing takes you through the rules and regulations of habituation and the expected code of conduct around the chimpanzees. After all this is understood, you will embark on your chimpanzee habituation experience in Kibale Forest. After traversing through the forests, you will encounter the chimpanzees and spend hours in their presence as your learn them. This experience will take you about 4-5 hours including the hour with the chimps. After your trek, you will head back to your lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, prepare yourself for an adventure in the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary. The sanctuary is manned by the local communities hence a tour of the wetland is a sustainable tour experience.

Queen Elizabeth National Park

A final delicious breakfast in Kibale forest will be served to you early. Then check out of your lodge and hit the road to Queen Elizabeth National Park. You will visit some crater lakes in Fort Portal as you journey to Queen Elizabeth. You will also enjoy the spot-on views of the crater lakes that scatter the highland craters of Fort Portal with abundant water. You will also interact with the locals on a lunch stopover. Your journey will be exciting with incredible adventures before you check into your lodge in Queen Elizabeth National Park for dinner and rest.

Queen Elizabeth National Park

A morning game drive in the park after a delicious breakfast with surely a classic. The endless savannah grassland and woodland plains relive the beautiful scenes of the wildlife species at the backdrop of Mountain Rwenzori. The Ishasha sector plains will bless your eyes with stunning views of the tree-climbing lions. The jaw-dropping scenes of these apex predators resting on the tree branches defying the natural laws of lions don’t climb, will not leave you the same. Explore the plains as you encounter other species like elephants, buffaloes, hyenas, antelopes etc. At noon you will head back to your lodge for lunch before embarking on a boat cruise safari on the Kazinga Channel. This channel is a waterway that connects Lake Edward to Lake Gorge. You will spot countless Nile crocodiles as they busk in the sun as their counterparts, the hippos relax in the cold waters. The channel also invites other species to the shores for a sip such as elephants, antelopes, buffaloes, etc.

Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

After breakfast, before you embark on the trip to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in south western part of Uganda. You undertake a game drive in this part of park searching for the tree climbing lions. Ishasha sector is well endowed with the infamous climbing lions together with other wild game that dwell in this woodland part of the park. The tree climbing lions prefer to lie flat on fig tree branches in the mid-morning sun while waiting for their prey. After this encounter, proceed on the drive to Bwindi arriving in the evening for relaxation, dinner and overnight at Bweza Gorilla lodge

Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

You will wake up to the beautiful melodies of the birds and the aroma of the delicious breakfast. After devouring your delicious breakfast, our guide driver will take you to the park offices. Here you will receive a pre-trekking briefing from the park rangers. You will be taken through the rules and regulations of trekking and be grouped in groups of 8. A guide ranger will be assigned to you and also a gorilla family to trek. After a long trek in the forest, you will encounter the endangered mountain gorillas in their natural environment. You will be given an hour to take pictures as you watch them play, rest, and groom their young. After this experience, you will head back to the lodge for lunch. A Batwa experience will be next on the agenda immediately after your lunch. You will venture through their lifestyles as they entertain you with their traditional dances and songs. Interact with the elder for a tale of their history as they lived in the park.

Mgahinga Gorilla National Park

Today you will participate in golden monkey trekking at Mgahinga gorilla national park where these creature dwell. These primates are endemic in the high altitude of the volcanoes with enough food. After a successful trek, go to Bunyonyi for relaxation and swimming.

Lake Mburo National Park

Today morning, you will start a scenic drive to Lake mburo reaching early as you check in at your lodge. Later do game viewing through this woodland park famous for many giraffes, buffaloes, hippos and many others retiring at your lodge. You will also participate in visiting this community neighbouring this park as you learn more about culture, milking, local chees making and their way of life.

Entebbe

An early morning breakfast will be served to you before heading out to the park for a walking safari adventure as you do nature walk in the park that will get close you to wildlife. This experience will let you explore the park in detail while on foot. You will get a chance to explore the natural setting of the animals and experience their chilling adventures. You will enjoy a final local cuisine lunch at a stopover mid-journey. later you will start a drive to airport arriving at Entebbe International Airport in time for your departure flight back home.
