At the magnificent cathedral square where we will see colourful, ornately decorated old houses and the beautiful renaissance well. If we are lucky, we will also experience the traditional farmers' market which still takes place here every Tuesday, Friday and Saturday (until 14:00) as it has for centuries.

Mrs König's guided tour of the old town of Mainz was outstanding. Her vivid stories and good humor brought us closer to Mainz and we actually remembered a lot:) She combines down-to-earthness and extensive knowledge in a good way. Our best guide during our trip.

The tour of Old Mainz with Judith was absolutely superb! She made the history of the area come alive with her stories of the history, architecture , economic importance of this old city and made us fall in love with Mainz! It was truly the highlight of our time in Germany and would highly recommend her tour to anyone considering visiting this city. I know we would love to come back and spend more time exploring further.

Judith is well informed about Mainz and a great communicator. Among the five private guides that we hired to improve our travel European travel experience during our recent lengthy vacation, she was the best. She achieved a very good balance between historical data and interesting anecdotes. She is an excellent story teller who obviously enjoys her profession, her city and her fellow Mainz residents. She is enthusiastic, flexible and engaging.

We had the pleasure of taking a guided tour of Mainz Cathedral with Judith, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. She brought the stories behind the stunning architecture and artwork to life, making us appreciate the significance of every detail. Mainz is a historic German city on the Rhine, famous for being the birthplace of Gutemberg and home to an important museum dedicated to him. With a prominent Romanesque cathedral and vibrant traditions such as Carnival.
Definitely book this tour!

Judith was a fantastic tour guide and was willing to customize our tour as needed. It was wonderful to have a local tour us through some of the top sites in the area. We had such a great time and learned a lot. If you are considering setting this tour up - definitely do it!

Excellent experience with Judith. She was very knowledgable about Mainz and the history. She showed us around the cathedral and pointed out many interesting facts and showed us many unique features. She explained everything really well and was a delight to spend a couple of hours with. We learnt a lot and would highly recommend this experience.
