5.00Our one-day Boston Whaler rental with Low Key Watersports Ocean Runner was the highlight of our trip. Being our own captains gave us total flexibility, and we loved the independence of a self-guided day on the water. We took the earliest rental to beat the heat and crowds and started by picking up sandwiches and drinks from St. John Provisions. Watermelon Cay was spectacular (about a 30-minute ride out), and we worked our way back with stops at Maho, Cinnamon Bay, and Hawksnest. Despite a small craft advisory, conditions were very manageable and made for a relaxing, enjoyable day. The snorkeling was outstanding—we saw starfish, nurse sharks, turtles, rays, eels, and an aquarium-level variety of fish and coral. Low Key provided clear, helpful guidance on routes, mooring, and operation. For others considering this: sun protection is essential (both clothing and coral-safe mineral sunscreen), and snorkel vests are a great safety add—especially for longer swims. If you’re comfortable operating a boat, this is an unforgettable way to experience St. John and a must-do activity.

5.00Our family had the most wonderful day with Capt. Chris on the Ocean Breeze exploring the BVIs and St. John. He was thoughtful about the experience we wanted to have, patient and engaging with our kids (9 and 11), and quick with recommendations that made the day easy and memorable. We did unfortunately have a longer wait than ideal (or relative to other boats around us) at customs to enter BVIs but Capt. Chris was great stretching the day out a bit at the end to make up for it. Overall this day was the highlight of our trip. Thank you!

3.00Boat itself was good, clean “enough” for what we planned, day on the water floating and swimming around. Boat attendant was great, good personality, informative, and attentive. We tipped him extra for his efforts, believe his name was Danny. The boat rental attendant in the office the day of pickup however was very standoffish. Pretty sure she owned the place, she definitely acted like it. She needed to go back to bed and have some more coffee. People are on vacation, they don’t want your attitude, let your staff handle customers and keep your tail at home. Every person we dealt with was great except her. Rented a boat (full day, spent $300 in her shop, and rented snorkeling equipment…very ungrateful person for a couple that dropped nearly $1000 in her shop) would not recommend this business to anyone wanting a great day without attitude.

5.00Adam was our captain for our BVI trip. He was receptive to where we wanted to go, and suggested another stop on the way home which was much appreciated and enjoyed! Our family of 4 really enjoyed our day!

5.00Best day of our trip to St John! Boat was comfortable, plenty of room for 5 people. Price was very fair. We had the boat for 7 hours and were able to see everything we wanted. Definitely recommend!
