17-Mile Drive offers the ultimate experience to explore the peninsula. You will ride from our bike shop in downtown Carmel-by-the-Sea. Your guide will take you to all of the best spots in Pebble Beach. You'll pass iconic landmarks such as The Lodge at Pebble Beach, The Lone Cypress, Bird Rock, Point Joe, Spanish Bay, and Crocker Grove, which is home to the largest and oldest Cypress trees in existence.
The minimum for a non-private tour to operate is 4 riders. We reserve the right to cancel the tour with full refunds, or convert you to a private guided tour (additional rates apply), or combine your booking with another at a different time and/or day, or convert the tour to a standard rental reservation (no tour guide, freedom of route and timing). As necessary, these options will be reviewed with the customer for their approval 24 hours before the reservation.
For parties of 1 or greater than 10, with dogs or children, or any other special requests, please call to inquire and book.

5.00You spend most of the time at Pebble Beach. It is stunning. It did not seem like a whole 17 miles. The bike does the hard work. Leslie was great! She stopped and gave us interesting info along the way.

5.00Shout out to the fabulous “Mad Dogs and Englishmen” cycling company in Carmel; they love dogs (Carmel is refreshingly dog-loving and accommodating in all respects) and accommodate them on bike rides with sidecars and darling heart-shaped doggles! We took the “17 mile Pebble Beach” bike tour this morning in gorgeous if a bit 😎 cool, Carmel summer weather. A classic car club passes us all morning in their lovely roadsters, such as Tigers, Fantômes 👻 and a classic pink Cadillac too. We visited the beautiful Monterey Cypress grove, native to this area. We also visited Pescadero point to aee the ghost trees too. Highlight was stopping at Bird Rock, where we saw a huge number of elephant seals, 🦭 sea lions and loads of 🦦 otters! Plus many pelicans, cormorants and a California condor. Superb tour and day! We highly recommend this company, which has a beautiful and really delicious coffee ☕️ shop attached to the bike 🚴♂️ 🚴♀️ shop as well! This was a lovely stop on our way to Berkeley to move Harrison to college!

5.00We had Leslie as our guide on the Intermediate ride, and she did a great job of keeping our group of 10 together and safe. She is knowledgeable and friendly. This is the best way to see 17 mile drive!
