  WOW!!! We weren’t sure what to expect but from the minute we arrived Mirindie welcomed us with a friendly settling vibe. Totally professional and explained everything perfectly. I have ridden horses back home but my partner hasn’t so she treated us like newbies and through the whole trip we both were relaxed and not stressed in any way! The premises were beautiful and the horses kept immaculately and well looked after so all of this makes for the perfect experience! Thank you again Mirindie we will remember this and recommend without hesitation!!

  

• The Perfect Way to Experience the Winelands!

  We booked a horse riding tour of Wine Land estate. It was the highlight of our family trip to Cape Town wine lands. Our group were all novice riders – many of us adults have not ridden since the days of pony rides. Michelle and her team are pros – they made us feel safe, prepared, and confident. The horses are obviously cared for and practically led us through the vineyard ride themselves. We walked through and past the beautiful Vrede en Lust estate – making it so convenient for lunch at Lust Bistro and a wine tasting following. This is a must-do for anyone visit to Wine Lands! Our family booked a horseback ride with Wine Valley Adventures, and it was hands down the best experience of our trip to the Cape Winelands! Most of us were complete beginners—some hadn’t been on a horse since childhood—but Michelle and her team were fantastic. They gave clear instructions, made sure we felt comfortable, and paired us with the sweetest, most well-trained horses. The ride itself was breathtaking—wandering through the stunning Vrede en Lust estate, surrounded by rolling vineyards and mountain views. The horses were so well-behaved they practically guided us themselves! And to top it all off, we finished the ride right by Lust Bistro, making it super convenient to enjoy a post-ride lunch and wine tasting. Whether you're a seasoned rider or a total beginner, this is an unforgettable way to experience the Winelands!

  Had the best time with Michelle and Brom riding through the most beautiful vineyards we have ever seen. Best part was riding Tasha and Coup d Etat, the most stunning Friesian horses, followed by a surprise carriage ride with one of the grey stallions. Feeling blessed🙏

  Booked a ride for an hour, as husband doesn’t ride. The tour was through the vines and grounds of Vrede en Lust, easy going with majestic back drop. We were met by Brom, who was very experienced and knowledgeable, who explained brilliantly how to ride their beautiful horses to my inexperienced husband. The horses were in very good condition and a pleasure to ride, they were educated enough for an experienced rider and patient enough with a beginner. The two mixed breed fresians were just lovely, the ride easy, and we enjoyed talking to Brom, she was fabulous. Completely recommend this company, as an equestrian it was a lovely ride and I was so pleased that my husband enjoyed it so much he would go again, big praise!

  Nice guides! Pretty views, too. Could have had a bit more history but enjoyed the info about the agricultural aspects.

  Absolutely incredible experience. Kevin was an amazing guide and shared so many stories and lots of knowledge about the vineyards as we went on the horse trail. A really friendly business and a great way to experience South Africa!

• Fantastic family horse trail for the whole family

  We had a wonderful family experience. The team were very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. The health safety instructions and protocols were well explained from arrival and through the tour. It was lovely to be out on these amazing horses, surrounded by the peaceful, beautiful wine lands. Will definitely recommend and hope to do it again when we return.   Our accommodation host arranged at very short notice a ride with wine valley adventures. They could not have been more accommodating and within two hours my husband and I had a morning ride with Kevin. He was a great guide with lots of info about the horses and stables and wine area. This is a fabulous place to visit. Michelle is an amazing host. She is so informative and happy to share info on the local area. We had a really fantastic start to our visit to Paarl. Highly recommend Thank you

• Fun afternoon ride for the whole family

  What a super late afternoon ride we had as part of an 18th birthday party celebratory weekend. All levels of riding catered for and safety is a top priority. Which for me as an experienced rider with a group of beginners, is vital. (Nothing worse than hoping for a relaxing ride but having to try and save the non-riders lives throughout the ride!) The horses were well schooled, in fantastic condition, and clearly enjoying their work. Very highly recommended! Will definitely do this again!
