  What a trip! Over these 2-days, we couldn’t stop smiling, taking photos and wishing we could go back in time to see places like Petra “in its heyday”. While more on the pricey side for us, we opted for this private offer to give us a little more flexibility and easy. Our driver, Amer, was lovely. He was helpful at each stop, drove safely, always had a kind smile and never made us feel rushed. Day 1 Amman to Petra. Set off at 8:30am. At Petra (absolutely stunning all the way) we had 3 hours to explore which turned into just over 3.5 as we were on a mission to make it all the way to the monastery and back. We did it! A tough hike up (wear good shoes) and worth it to see the wonder at the top and feel that sense of accomplishment. Note: the ticket does include a short horse ride at the start (800m worth) and if you want to repeat the same distance on the way back, but you would be expected to give tips. Also, there is a buggy option to bring you back up to the visitor center gate from the treasury (15 JOD) - always a queue. There are also donkey rides up to and down from the monastery - hate to think how many times they do this every day. We did not use any animal or buggy rides during our visit and managed to see almost everything. Petra to Wadi Rum We arrived just after sunset to our “bubble home on mars”. What a landscape 🤩! Couldn’t get enough of it. The silence and stillness was amazing. Everyone was lovely, we had great food and went on jeep tours to see the sunrise and explore the area. We got to see the site where Star Wars, Dune and the Martian were filmed, drawings on the stones (sadly some vandalised), canyons, had some tea, tried the Arabic eyeliner and found some natural blush (powder from the rocks). Note: stargazing only really worth it with a new/no moon. It’s an extra 10 JOD per person so go when you can make it count. Day 2 Wadi Rum to the Dead Sea. Started the drive at 9:30am. 4 hour drive. We enjoyed our time floating in the sea and covering ourselves with the mud for just over 2 hours. My skin felt so soft after the experience. We also appreciated the kind gesture by Amer and the Hanson company. Note: there is a smell (natural) and the flies are very annoying. Stay in the water or close to it and you’ll be fine.   This was an amazing trip. I was able to see Petra, Wadi Rum and the dead sea. Yusuf picked me up from my hotel and we headed south to Petra. I also got to stay in a bubble tent in the desert. We also had a local meal cooked by the local bedouins and a local bedouin took us into the Wadi Rum Desert area to see sites where the film Martian, Star Wars, and Dune was filmed. When dropped off at Petra, you walk to the ticket desk, buy your ticket unless you have the Jordan pass and walk about 40-45 minutes to seeing the main attraction of Petra the Monastery. There's also a golf cart for a fee or a horse ride. The horse ride is offered as free but they expect a tip. We ended up doing the Indiana Jones route as above. Costly, but it was worth it We even saw one of the sites that Sir Lawrence of arabic had explored. This was a dream trip for me. This trip made it easy to check off all of these things easily, with convenient transportation from Amman. Yusuf organized everything perfectly. When we got to Petra, Yusuf dropped us off. He was not allowed to be our guide based on the local/municipality rules in Petra. You can hire a guide on site. Me and two other tourists, went to Petra ourselves. We did the Indiana Jones horse ride through the mountains. It was expensive, but worth it for a unique view of Petra. I would definitely do this tour again.

  The experience at the Petra ruins was amazing. The tour guide was very courteous and friendly. The guide will not be able to get to some of the Petra ruins, so you have to work hard on your own. Bubble camping in the Wadi Rum desert is also great. The early morning desert haggy experience was unforgettable. Breakfast after the buggy is over, but with time running out for the next tour to the Dead Sea, you can't relax.

  Thank you Annon, please to meet you. Very nice person carefuly his guest. First day Petra was AMAZING the camp was ok but room not so nice Second day riseup the the sun in desert but not see the arch Long trip to come back til dead sea. Nothing really happened, stay in Grand Est Hotel with swimming pool and dead sea Hannon invite us to the restaurant Back to the aeroport What ever, nice moment with nice people : That was the most important for us 🙏😉😊

  Excellent experience. My driver was incredibly helpful and was happy to let me take the time I needed at Petra and to rearrange things as necessary to fit my schedule. Also helped me with crossing the border and walked me through each step along the way (even responding at 3:00 AM to last minute questions!). Would definitely recommend.

  Amazing trip! Highly recommend Hanoon Transportation and Tours Yousef was great and accommodating tour guide! We enjoyed the scenic tour and sites of Petra. We enjoyed our time at the bubble tent in Wadi Rum - a must do if you want to enjoy an exotic night under the stars. Overall, we had a really great time ! Would come back to see the sites we missed.
