No wonder, it's rated as the most famous highlighted area in the park. The pillars here are bigger-sized than other areas.
Tianzi Mountain
Tianzi means “Heavenly Prince”. actually, he is the real person who leads the local minority to fight with the government army in Ming Dynasty 500 years ago...Mt. Tianzi Area is the very old battle field. Most of the scenic spots there are combined with historical stories and legends of this honorable man. Besides these, Visually, on the Tianzi mountain top, we can experience the most spectacular view of sandstone peak forest in the park featured by its sharp and slim shape. it’s one of the highlights in Zhangjiajie Scenic Area.
Golden Whip Brook
Golden Whip Stream is regarded as the 1 of the most beautiful Streams in China. It’s 6 km long with a well-paved flat walkway at the bottom of valley, which takes us about 2 hours for walking between the 2 ends. it is also where we can see the bottom view of the Avatar Mountain Scenery,very different from the top.On both sides of the walkway, there are hundreds of different-shaped sandstone peaks erecting by a lovely stream,attached with plenty of interesting legends and stories given from locals.the other interesting part is,if lucky, we can see wild monkeys which would bring more fun and make you feel closer to the mother nature.

Tianmen Mountain,as the highest spot of Zhangjiajie, is regarded as the "New Legend Of Zhangjiajie “where you can walk on super-exciting cliff-path and glass walkway and see the whole city and beautiful countryside with bird's view. What is more unbelievable? this single mountain holds 4 World Guinness Records in its small body. It is a must-see highlight of Zhangjiajie.

5.00Eric is a top class guide. We had to change the dates for personal reasons and then the airline has changed the flight from evening to early morning, so instead of two full days, we only had one day to explore Zhangjiajie. Eric has been very accommodating and was our guide on his day off (it was a national holiday). He planned the trip given our time constrains and our chosen accommodation. Without him, we wouldn’t have managed to see all the main highlights of Zhangjiajie. He knew exactly where to go for the most beautiful spots, walked with us for miles through the scenic routes and we mostly managed to avoid crowds. He took lots of videos, including with his drone and put it together into a very special clip, which really captured the essence of our day. All in all, we had an amazing time and saw everything we wanted to see, so grateful for this experience.

5.00Eric was punctual, professional, and a great photographer. He knew which parts of the parks had fewer crowds and we were able to customize time spent in various sections as well as make arrangements for VIP service to bypass queues. His command of English is excellent and he jokingly referred to the McDonalds on site at Zhangjiajie as the U.S. Embassy. The private van pick-up/drop-off to our hotel was smooth and comfortable. Several days after our tour ended he surprised us by sending a personal edited video of our tour. Everything—the scenery, park organization, and service—exceeded our expectations.

5.00I’ve booked a 2 days private tour with Eric.I think they were the money best invested in all the tours I’ve done! Eric was simply perfect in everything, taking care of our needs. The day before he asked which fruit my daughter preferred, and the next day he showed up with lots of fresh fruit, including my daughter's favorite fruit. Pick up and drop off right on time at my hotel, with a comfortable minivan. The tour was amazing, beautiful places. Eric knows exactly which the most beautiful places and spots are to show, with a great peculiarity: he tries to bring his customers in places that thousands of tourists usually don’t know. So the great plus is that it seems it’s only you, your family, the amazing nature…and Eric! Furtehrmore we easily jumped from one spot to another with several bus that Eric knows perfectly, so the logistic inside the parks was simply perfect with him. I think that without a guide like him, we would have spent twice as long seeing half the things. Highly recommended. Last but not least: he is a great photographer and he’s practicing with video from the drone. So…the final amazing surprise was that he made beautiful pictures to us and he composed very creative videos with the shots he took with his drone of us and the surrounding nature. Very exciting and spectacular videos, and also free!

5.00We had a great experience with our guide Lucy, she was fun, enthusiastic and ready to accomodate our needs and to share information about the places visited. Also the overall organization was fantastic, they arranged for us all the transports, the pickups from and to the airport/train station and it was very convenient. The scenary was amazing and the days were full of activities! I would absolutely recommand this type of Tour, especially for large groups of people like us (7 people).

5.00This amazing tour allowed us to visit all the highlights in Zhangjiajie despite the limited time we had. Eric was an amazing guide, showing us all the best spots to go to as well as sharing lots of interesting information that enriched our visit greatly and making sure we always had everything we needed. The tour was also perfectly adapted to our preferences and to make the most out of the time we had in Zhangjiajie. I cannot recommend this tour enough!

5.00I realized I lost my passport/visa the day of the day of the trip and lost 4 days :( luckily Eric was able to help save some of my memorable trip with my mom and we had an amazing time. Our young and fairly new tour guide Reeven was there with our driver the next morning to take us to Zhangjiajie where we we took the world's longest cable car and walked the stairway to heaven. I loved the that the trip was customizable. I expressed that I didn't want to go to the glass bridge and Reeven was able to guide us through the complicated avatar mountains and I felt like we didn't miss a thing. I also told Eric that I wanted to go to Pheonix town and he said it was possible but because its a few hours away, he suggested to go and stay at Furong town. This fairy tale town was so magical and made our overall once in a lifetime trip even more special. I appreciated that Reeven consistently coordinated with our kind driver so we always had ac and water waiting for us. Overall, Eric did an amazing job salvaging our trip with the challenges I presented him and I can't recommend this part of China more ❤️

5.00Eric is the man! He went above and beyond for our 2 day excursion. It included pickup and drop off from the airport which made this seamless. Eric knew all the secret spots and we beat all the crowds. This was totally worth it and Eric’s got some great photo skills. This private tour is a must and we highly recommend it.

5.00Amazing! What a great adventure in Zhangjiajie National park with Eric. Everything was perfect and spot on organisised. I felt like I am ona holiday with a good friend the way how easy and friendly Eric is. Perfect communication before, during and after my stay. Eric's English is excellant, his knowledge about the park and thr whole region, culture is impecible. His sence of humeour also makes the whole day enjoyble. I would recommemd his tours 100%, relaible, super friendly and trusted person. I wish you Eric all the best and would def take another tour with you 👍.
