Only small carry on luggage such as backpacks are possible.
Please check with your hotel if they can store your luggage during the tour if you are staying again at the same hotel after the tour. Otherwise you can use luggage lockers that are located in the center Reykjavík.
We can also offer you to store your luggage for free at NiceTravel office, located in Fiskislóð 45, Space M.
To avoid any delays on departure luggage must be in storage before pick up time.
It can happen that the ice caving tour is cancelled because of weather and/or safety reasons. Then we will find other activities when possible, and refund the price difference. We reserve the right to change the order of the activities and sightseeing of the itinerary.

Hveragerdi
On the first day, you’ll depart from Reykjavík and drive along Route 1, passing charming small towns and soaking in the stunning Icelandic countryside. Along the way, you’ll pass the famous town of Hveragerði, known for its greenhouses and the geothermal “Hot River” in Reykjadalur, nestled in a rift valley between the Eurasian and North American continental plates.
Selfoss
The tour passes through Selfoss, the largest town and capital of South Iceland. You’ll see this lively hub as you continue your journey along the route.
Seljalandsfoss
You’ll get a close-up view of Seljalandsfoss, a stunning waterfall that drops 60 meters from the side of the Eyjafjallajökull volcano. This powerful cascade offers a unique and breathtaking experience for all visitors.
Gljufrabui Waterfalls

5.00We did 3 different tours to visit the south, the peninsula/west and the golden circle. All were excellent. The guides - Addi, Elias, Gulli and Brahim - were all a little different but stood out for me as the main reason we had such a memorable time. We loved them!

5.00Great tour, our guide “Bear” was amazing, full of great Icelandic stories. We ended up with extra time so he took us to an extra special stop which wasn’t included in the tour! The weather was supposed to be bad one of the days so they were able to switch activities around and do day 2s stops on day 1 instead so that we got the best stops without the rain which worked out perfectly! Most stops had anywhere between a couple of hundred metres and up to 1.5km to walk. Would highly recommend this tour! So much was jam packed into just days!

5.00I booked this trips for my parents and myself as it was one of their travel wish destination. Please notes my parents are at retirement ages but it does not stop them from being adventurous. Addi was our guide with nicetravel (for 2 days 1 night to the south) and it was amazing. He would makes pit stop along the way, so it wasn't bad as we were able to stretch our legs when needed. He gave us awesome advises and always try to make our experience the best. If there was northern lights to be seen, he would knock on the doors and let us know. Because of this, we didn't miss it on our trip! Be prepared to get soaked! Especially at the waterfalls. Also watch out for waves... I might gotten soaked at the diamond beach, in which my waterproof boots and socks still got wet! But I was ready with another pair of shoes, socks and pants. It was definitely cold! So be careful waves are always unpredictable. Also the ice caves exploration, he made sure we went in the early morning to avoid heavy crowds. I cannot give an exact price as I booked with guide to Iceland, which helped us book the other stuffs on my trip. Overall, my parents and I had an enjoyable experiences.

5.00Fantastic experience. Our truly experienced and special Gulli guide. He made us live two intense days immersed in Icelandic and Viking culture and history. Gulli was able to organize the various stages of the trip with wisdom and cunning, trying to show us even spots just to have an extra memory of his beloved land. Great job Gulli!!!

5.00I booked the South Coast tour and it was an amazing experience! We got to see so much of Icelands natural wonders, including the waterfalls, ice caves, glacier lagoon, beaches, and the charming countryside of Iceland. Gulli, our tour guide, made the experience even better with his humor and interesting stories on Icelands history. He was very accommodating, and literally saved me from freezing during the trip and had lent me his snow pants for the day (which I highly recommend you get one...I thought I'd be ok with my own sweatpants but nah). Gulli stopped by on little detours outside of the itinerary to show us other amazing things, such as another picturesque glacier, lava floor, and an old church with beautiful landscapes. I highly recommend touring with Gulli!
