Wat Chaiwatthanaram lies on the west bank of Chao Phraya River, south-west of the old city of Ayutthaya. It is a large compound part of Ayutthaya Historical Park; however not a part of Historic City of Ayutthaya, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It can be reached by road or by boat.

5.00The tour exceeded our expectations. Our local guide, Phillip, was really friendly and effective; he also helped us in solving a problem regarding one of the activities included in the tour, demonstrating a very proactive actitude. The accomodation for the night was clean and comfy, the room had a nice river view. The included meals were good too. What made our experience really special was the kindness and helpfulness of the "Bigcountry Tour Stay Ayutthaya" staff.

5.00I found the experience great. Nice to get out of the big city see some sights, staying over night at the homestay was great super friendly staff making me feel welcome. Comfortable room with a river view. Overall a nice experience
