From start to finish, you’ll feel worlds away from Scandinavia’s largest city. Experience the true essence of hiking as you cook in the wild and sleep under the stars. Tyresta National Park, the largest ancient forest in southern Sweden, boasts ancient trees and abundant wildlife, including deer, boars, moose, and the elusive lynx. While the dense forest makes spotting these animals challenging, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to see birds, especially owls and woodpeckers. This area has been inhabited since ancient times, with Vikings once calling it home, drawn by the stunning landscapes shaped by ice ages. It’s a perfect opportunity to immerse yourself in nature and delve into history. We’ll guide you through the dense, ancient forest and provide all the necessary hiking equipment. Please note that you’ll need to carry your own gear (all provided by us). The tour is suitable for anyone with a normal fitness level (approximately 35 km distance), no need to be an athlete.
