Upon your arrival today, your local guide and driver will welcome you at the airport or the train station, and then escort you to check into the hotel in the downtown area.
Jinsha Site Museum
After that, you will be transferred to visit the Jinsha Site Museum, a huge site museum combining history and archaeology. Your knowledgeable guide will introduce the twists and turns of its discovery, as well as unveil the mystery about its making. Then we’ll have a break back at your hotel until it’s time for our evening food tour.
Around 17:30, your tour guide will accompany you to take subway or taxi to head for Yulin Road Night Fair to start our exciting food tour. As a vegetable market is situated nearby, we first take you there to see local people's almost all everyday food ingredients. Out of the market, we are before the Yulin district, where the colorful night fair begins as darkness falls. Foods stands are showing up selling myriad snacks you’d never have another chance to taste. The best part is, we’ll treat you to 3 or 4 of the most popular snacks, which you can savor while enjoying the energetic atmosphere through the fair. To top it off, let’s stop by a local brewpub for some cool beer! With your eyes and stomach satisfied, your guide will take you back to your hotel by subway or taxi.

Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding
This morning, your guide will pick you up at the lobby of your hotel and take you to visit the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding. You will have many opportunities for fantastic photos when the pandas are munching on bamboo, playing with each other or some even climbing up trees. They are more active in the morning until about 10am, and after that some of them will go to sleep.
Kuanzhai Alley
Then you will turn to the Broad and Narrow Alleys. It is really fun to stroll along this ancient street lined with many old houses and some newly-built ones with a traditional style. You will have your lunch here (own expense), and you can ask for your guide's advice on where to eat.
Wenshu Yuan Monastery
Afterwards, we will head to the Wenshu Monastery, which is a Buddhist holy land integrating Buddhist temple relics, ancient garden construction, worship and sightseeing, and religious study.
Chengdu
At the end of the tour, your guide and driver will escort you to Chengdu airport or train station to catch your scheduled flight or train.

From the very beginning, she made us feel truly special, anticipating our needs and providing thoughtful and useful information even before we had a chance to ask. Her professionalism was evident in every detail and her genuine care for our experience set her apart. Visiting the Chengdu is one of those rare travel experiences that lives up to the hype. Julies recommendations for activities besides pandas and local cuisine were outstanding. She introduced us to an authentic hot pot experience at our request which turned to be absolutely delicious. She consistently went above and beyond her duties. One of the most unforgettable moments besides visiting pandas, was when she guided us through tea ritual and introduced us to the art of calligraphy in a lively park setting. It was truly a once in a lifetime experience that we will always cherish. Thank you Julie for your dedication, warmth and for creating such meaningful memories in Chengdu for us❤️

5.00Claire C was our cheerful guide for 3 days in Chengdu, Leshan and Mt Emei. Claire was a joyful and knowledgeable guide. She explained about history and culture as well evoking attitudes about Buddhism, Taoism and Confucianism

5.00Our private tour guide Julie and our driver Mr Yang was excellent. Thanks to Julie's knowledge and expertise we were able to maximise our stay in Chengdu and get to see the pandas ahead of the main crowd. Location of our hotel Grand Hyatt was well located just footstep away from the key shopping area and restaurants. Afternoon tea in the Renmin park was very relaxing and enjoyable seeing live cultural performance while drinking local tea. Returning soon to Chengdu again.

5.00Our 2-day private panda tour in Chengdu was great! Our tour guide was Claire, who was very kind. She took us to the wide, narrow, and well alleys, as well as the panda research centre and the big Buddha in Leshan. She had prepared special gifts for us when we arrived and made sure we had take away breakfast for our early flight when we left. Highly recommend.

She had great recommendations for food as well and even planned a tea time with doing calligraphy and making our own fans. Someone in the group had a great imagination about what pandas could look like elsewhere 😂 Would recommend Julie for your guide.

5.00We had a wonderful tour to the Chengdu Panda Sanctuary with Julie. She was incredibly kind, patient, and accommodating throughout the day. Even with a last-minute request to use the shuttle service, Julie handled everything smoothly and navigated the park with ease to ensure we had a comfortable experience. Her easygoing nature and thoughtful support made the tour truly enjoyable. We would highly recommend Julie to any visitors looking for a kind, and flexible guide in Chengdu.
Amazing days in Chengdu and on Mt. Emei with Claire

5.00We had a very amazing privat trip with Claire and Mr. Hu, our driver! They picked us up at the trainstation, we were driven by a very comfortable black limousine and the hotels were also high standard! The first day we visited the panda base - they are so cute! After that Claire showed us Chengdus markets and teahouses. On the following days we went to Emeishan and had the fabulous chance to see the golden summit on top of mount emei on a sunny day - it was great!!!!! Remember that it takes 3 hours to get on top with bus and cable car and also so long to come back, but it was the best we had ever seen! Thanks a lot to Claire and Mr. Hu!

5.00We had a fantastic time in Chengdu and Leshan! Our guide Bella was amazing, she was like our little sister! She took amazing care of us, especially rescuing my wife when she was exhausted, helping us find somewhere to rest and eat. We really appreciated what she taught us about Chinese Buddhism at Leshan and loved the bubble tea she introduced us to! The pandas were amazing of course, and Bella worked really hard to get us good views. She clearly went above and beyond, doing little things like picking me up some Sichuan spices after I’d asked where to buy them! She made us feel at home in Chengdu and we’d love to return and meet Bella again!
