With only two nights to spend in Sapa, I wanted to see and experience as much as possible. After browsing the wide range of tours on Saigonese Trekking House’s website, I reached out for their help — and I’m so glad I did. Thanh Duyên was exceptional in understanding exactly what I was looking for, helping me plan the logistics and customising their tours to suit my evolving plans. On my first day, I joined a half-day motorbike tour to the Lonely Tree, Silver Waterfall, and Love Waterfall. Vang was arranged at very short notice upon my arrival, and although the Lonely Tree was wrapped in mist by the time we got there, he more than made up for it by stopping at several scenic viewpoints along the O Quy Ho Pass for me to take photos. My trekking guide, My, was wonderful over the next two days — warm, thoughtful, and full of fascinating insights into her Black Hmong culture. She offered me her umbrella when the sun grew too strong and even crafted a bamboo walking stick to help me through the steeper parts of the trail. It was a joy to walk with her, learning about her world and sharing stories along the way. In summary, I was very satisfied with my stay in Sapa, and Saigonese Trekking House played a crucial role in making it such an enriching and personalised experience. Their professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail made my short visit truly memorable.
