Winay Wayna
Wiñaywayna is indeed an archaeological site located in the Cusco Region of Peru. It is part of the larger Machu Picchu Historical Sanctuary and is often visited by trekkers on the famous Inca Trail. On the hike, we may also see some larger mammals such as Viscachas (rabbit-like Chinchillas) and Spectacled Bears (if we are very lucky). After walking 3 hours, the road descends through an amazing forest. Thanks to our guide (Jimmy) we had a great time. He was well-informed and I loved asking him questions about all the plants, in addition to what he taught us about the Inca civilization. It was a moderately tough hike but was super rewarding. He was really nice to make sure all our friends made it through to the end. Thank you, Jimmy!

Our tour, Machu Picchu Official Ticket, Bus, and Guide – Private Tour, was an unforgettable experience. Our guide, Jimmy was outstanding—his deep knowledge, genuine passion, and attentiveness made the tour both engaging and personalized to our interests and pace. He was incredibly helpful and always ensured our safety. Visiting Machu Picchu is a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and with limited time to explore, expectations are high. Thanks to Jimmy, our visit not only met but exceeded those expectations

Jayder was an amazing and informative tour guide from telling us all about the true Peruvian history from the ancient civilization, the Andeans, the Incas, and the Spanish. He helped show the best views and kept us well informed throughout the entire trail. He kept us motivated and entertained the entire time especially when we were tired on the trail. Not to mention he was great at taking photos and had the best recommendations for coffee and restaurants! I’m very glad my first major tour and hike in South America was with him and Wilkatravels. I hope the best for Wilkatravels and for Jayder in years to come!

Jayder was incredible! From the day before, he made sure we had no stress or concerns about the trip, and truly supported us and became a friend to us by the end. We learned so much about the culture, food, people, language, and couldn’t have had a better experience with any other tour group. Their cause is amazing, and I’m so grateful and lucky to have been able to see one of the wonders of the world with Wilka Travel. HIGHLY recommend booking with them for your trip!

Macchu Picchu is a unique experience, the tour fantastic from beggining to end, our guide, katy, was waiting for us at the train station and had organised everything at the hotel. During the tour she took very good care of us, managing to explain evrything very clearly and calmly. She also gave us time for photos and helped is to capture the best views.
