For the Bromo tour, each traveler is required to bring a warm jacket, trekking shoes, and any personal medication.
For the Tumpak Sewu tour, each traveler is required to bring waterproof shoes or non-slip sandals, as well as any personal medication.
If you start from Malang and need to be dropped off at Surabaya Airport after the tour, there will be an additional charge of IDR 350,000 in total. This can be paid in cash directly to the tour guide.
If you need to be dropped off at Surabaya Airport after the tour, please bring all of your luggage with you during the midnight pick-up. Our driver will take care of your belongings while you explore Mount Bromo.

From 6:00 to 9:30 AM, depart from your hotel in Malang and travel to the stunning Tumpak Sewu Waterfall.

Spend the next three hours, from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM, exploring the breathtaking Tumpak Sewu Waterfall and the fascinating Goa Tetes Cave. Finally, return to your hotel in Malang between 12:30 and 3:00 PM, with an optional stop for lunch along the way.

Your adventure begins with a midnight pickup at 12:05 AM from your hotel, heading to Tosari village near Mount Bromo. Upon arrival at 2:30 AM, transfer to a Sunrise Viewpoint using a 4WD Bromo jeep. From 3:00 to 4:30 AM, enjoy a coffee break to warm up while awaiting the sunrise. At 4:30 AM, marvel at the spectacular sunrise until 6:00 AM, then proceed to the Mount Bromo crater. Between 7:00 and 8:30 AM, walk to the top of Bromo to admire the breathtaking views and the smoking crater. By 8:30 AM, return to Tosari village, pausing for breakfast at a local restaurant, before driving back to your pick-up point in Malang by 12:00 PM. Optional drop-off at Surabaya City or Airport is available for an additional cost.

5.00Chose this tour out of many others because of the amazing reviews and yup the experience definitely lived up to the reviews. The entire trip was amazing and everything went smoothly aside from the fact that we overslept and was late for 1 hour for the second day tour and even then the staff was very kind and waited patiently while we rushed to get ready. We had a great breakfast and lunch on the second day which was included in the tour. The highlight of the trip was definitely the sunrise viewing on the second day and climbing up the volcano and me and my friends all agreed that Mt Bromo was just an amazing experience overall and what made it even more perfect was the amazing IDN Trip Experiences team especially Alef who was our tour guide for both of the days. 10/10 would recommend taking the trip with them as throughout the trip we did not feel rushed at all and generally all of our needs was taken care of so literally everything was perfect.
Once in a life time experience!

5.00First time in Indonesia and this was also the first tour I went on. I signed up for this tour with a friend and had an amazing time. This tour is pretty physical. Tempak sewu and its waterfalls were beautiful, trekking throughout the waterfall and heading to Goa tetes cave was a bit challenging, so I highly recommend wearing sturdy waterproof shoes/sandals. You will get wet! For Mt. bromo, we had to wake up very early for the sunrise viewing but it was worth it. After the sunrise, you have the option of walking up the trail or doing a horse back ride to the stairs that lead up to get a better view of Mt bromo volcano and the craters. The smell of sulfur was very strong at some points so bring a face mask if you are sensitive to smells. Our guide Nadal was helpful, patient, knowledgeable and answered all our questions and more. All admission fees were all taken care of prior to the tour so we didn't have to worry. He and his team prepared us successfully to have a safe and awesome experience at both the Tempak sewu waterfall and seeing the sunrise view of Mt bromo. Would definitely recommend this tour.

5.00I recently visited Bromo and although the weather was cloudy and I didn’t get to see the iconic golden sunrise, the overall trip was still truly memorable. The highlight came afterward when I visited one of the most famous waterfalls, Tumpak Sewu and Tetes Cave and Waterfall, which was absolutely amazing and worth every step. I was also very fortunate to have an amazing team with me. My guide, Rizki, was always helpful and thoughtful. He even helped me print my train tickets before I left Malang for my next stop, which I really appreciated. My driver was equally wonderful, always stopping at great local spots so I could try fruits and delicious local food along the way. Even without the perfect sunrise, this Bromo trip became special because of the beautiful waterfall experience and the great people who made the journey smooth and enjoyable. Highly recommended!

5.00East-java is easily one of the most beautiful places I've visited. From mount Bromo to Tumpak Sewu waterfall. The IDN trip experiences was handled very well, from messages sent on time to put us in contact with our tour guide and enough details on when we should be ready for what will happen. I really enjoyed my time there and the environment was nice, but it wouldn't have been the same without our tour guide and good friend Mr. Qowim. He's easily one of the best people I've met in Indonesia. He doesn't feel like a narrator to your tour and shows interests in your life which makes him a great addition to your time there. He was always very patient with us and gave us the time to explore the places on our own while also making it fun for us to visit those places. He's also very intelligent in many things and has a good sense of humor. We're very happy to have had him as our tour guide and we wish him the best of luck in his future endeavors.

5.00We had an amazing travel experience with IDN and our personal guide Ifa. The entire process was running super smooth. Communication via Whatsapp was easy and we got answers to our questions within minutes. We did the Mt. bromo and Tumpak Sewu 2 days trip and can 100% recommend it. Our guide Ifa was the best guide we had during our stay on Java. She knew the best spots and securely led us through the sometimes big amount of other tourists. So we were always able to enjoy the sites without big fuzz around us, nearly never had to wait in order to reach a specific spot and we felt safe the entire time. She also took great pictures of us and knew most of the local people, that live and work at the sites. Her English was perfect and we had a great time together :) The pickup and drop off at our hotel was on time, the cars were new and in good condition and our jeep driver at Mt. Bromo was very experienced and was driving very safely :) If you have special wishes, like being dropped off in another city, that also was working out perfectly! 5.00It was amazing experience. Especially Tumpak Sewu, it offered surreal impression. Even though didn't have a chance to see sunrise at Bromo, the beauty of nature and other activities superceded. In summary, it was worth of the trip indeed. These experiences wouldn't be completed without the great service from Nadal, the guide, and Ricky, the driver, who I should give them a big thanks.
