The 2 Days 1 Night Tour to the Pacuare River is one of the unique experiences that combines Rafting with a night in a Lodge in the Rainforest.
You will enjoy Class 2,3 and 4 rapids during your 29 kilometer tour and you will pass through the heart of the Tropical jungle and you will be able to admire its imposing beauty.

The Tour begins when we pick you up at the main hotels in San José, then our driver will drive for 1.5 hours until we reach the place where we will have a delicious typical Costa Rican breakfast, also in this place we take the opportunity to change into our clothes that we will use in the Rio Then we will arrive at the banks of the majestic Rio Pacuare, here you will be received by our guides who will help you to put on your safety equipment and will also give you a safety talk for the white water tour, then we begin our adventure in the rapids of the wonderful Rio Pacuare entering the majestic tropical jungle. During the journey we will cross class 2 and 3 rapids, giving us more and more confidence to enjoy them and the scenic beauty. We will stop at one of the magnificent beach on the banks of the river to enjoy a delicious lunch and then arrive at the Lodge where we will spend an incredible night with the Sound of the river and the jungle
Our adventure continues by entering the Pacuare River Canyon where we will enjoy class 3 and 4 rapids

After a restful night we get up and breakfast awaits us with a good coffee, tea or hot chocolate. After breakfast we pack up our houses and are ready to start a new adventure. We put on our safety equipment and go back to the rafts and begin to descend through the Rio Pacuare canyon, today we will touch rapids class 3 and 4 Huacas Arriba, Huacas down and Dos Montañas which makes this journey more exciting. You will also enjoy the beauty of the tropical jungle and if you are lucky you will see some birds such as Toucans, Oropendolas, Morpho Butterflies or Sloth Bear. We will stop at one of the magnificent beach on the banks of the river to enjoy a delicious lunch. Then we continue downstream until we reach our final point of the tour there our bus will be waiting for you with your dry clothes, you can shower and change to be ready for the return trip to your respective hotels

5.00This tour is for those who want to feel one with nature, to feel the spirit of the jungle and have a richer perspective on the flora and fauna of Costa Rica. Rafting was an excellent physical activity and far from the ordinary, all the guides liked me very well and make you feel included. The experience of sleeping by a river was unique, it feels great. 100% recommended.

5.00The people was the most memorable part. Kenny took such good care of us and cooked great food for us. He was hospitable and professional. Meeting Albero, Alex and Barbera was very nice. 5.00Incredible experience in the Pacuare jungle. Christopher took great care of us the entire time, took us to a beautiful waterfall and told us many things. Then the rafting descent with the instructor Raúl was amazing, highly recommended. We have wonderful memories. Thank you very much and pure life!

5.00It is a unique experience that combines adventure sport on one of the five best rivers in the world to make Rafting, the Pacuare River, and the possibility of sleeping in the heart of the rainforest. Of the best activities we've ever done. Thank you very much to the guides Diego, Michele and Pancho! And all the staff at Tropical Rivers. Excellent professionals and better people. Very good organization, and a great Mood in the lodge.

5.00It has been an unforgettable experience. Clean and tidy accommodation. Gustavo and Raul have been attentive and have cooked for us super well. Full breakfast (fresh fruit, scrambled, homemade empanadillas, toast, coffee...) and in addition to the impressive rafting, the explanations of the flora, fauna and history of the Pacuare River environment we loved. We would definitely repeat with them again! We chose to extend the trip for another day at the recommendation of friends and we were not disappointed

5.00We took the 2-day rafting tour with Tropical Rivers, and this experience will stay with us for a long time. For the three if us, it was the first time rafting, and the guides made us feel safe and well guided at all times. The ride through the pristine canyons of the Pacuare river were breathtaking - you are surrounded by the untouched beauty of the rainforest while floating on the turquoise river that varies between wide and narrow, gentle and wild. At times we hopped off the rafts to float along and enjoy the water and the views. The lodge is absolutely lovely - basic in its amenities, but an oasis of nature, sounds and views. You can hike around the lodge and discover waterfalls, trails and creatures, and the fact that there is no WiFi immediately has a calming and grounding effect. At the same time, the meals are delicious, we got a fabulous home made sangria for happy hour, and everything is freshly prepared for you with care and attention. What made all of this extra special was the wonderful staff - on the river as well as at the lodge. The team of people taking care of us was friendly, helpful and fun to be with at all times. The river guides were also highly professional - Max and Carlos had our trust and confidence even when the raft spun or turned, or the course did not confirm to "Plan A"...thank you to all of the fantastic people involved in this adventure for making our 2 days absolutely unforgettable. Will do again for sure in the future!

5.00This experience was absolutely amazing! The scenery of the rafting was beautiful and untouched. During rafting we stopped several times and walked to see some amazing waterfalls and pools. We could see the day trip rafters floating by without seeing these incredible spots. Our guide Max was so knowledgeable and told us everything about the wildlife and the plants we saw. The lodge is absolutely beautiful and looks better in real life compared to the online photos. The food was plentiful and so good! Nothing compares to waking up in the jungle! This was definitely the highlight of our Costa Rica trip!!
