  We has a fabulous experience on our 1 night trek! Vikram and his Dad (who's been running the biz for 40 years!) were both lovely and very helpful. Salim was a great driver and helped us communicate throughout the trip. The other staff were all friendly. Tasty food, fun camel experience, and so much fun camping under the stars on the dune. Highly recommended! We wished afterwards we had booked a longer trip...

  The camel safari was one of the highlights of our trip to India. Incredible experience. After a short jeep ride from Jaisalmer to the desert, you meet your new camel friends and are guided safely by Taka, the camel driver, into the sand dunes. It was very safe and fun, with Taka offering to take photos whenever we wanted. Once arrived, the excellent Salim and Taka made our dinner from scratch over a fire, washed down with some delicious homemade chai masala. Once the sun sets, the beds are rolled out and you spend the evening looking into the Milky Way, admiring the stars. Highly recommend!!

  We had the best camel safari with adventure travel agency tours. Vikram and Indar were so kind and helpful in the office, they have run the family business for 40 years and it shows. Salim and Taka who took us on the tour were amazing guides and made us delicious food. The experience was so peaceful and the stars, sunset/sunrise unforgettable. Highly recommend this tour company for the best experience we had in India.

  Many thanks for this amazing experience! Your expertise, kindness and professionalism have really made a difference. After a short drive and an hour of camel ride (a first for me, and I loved it!), we arrived at the camp. We were welcomed with a delicious cellar, and while Saleem and Taga were preparing dinner, we were able to enjoy this beautiful setting. After dinner, our beds were made and we spent an extraordinary night under the stars. The next morning we had a delicious breakfast before riding a camel back to a small village in the desert. We had a wonderful time meeting the locals and discovering their way of life.   We went on a 2day/1night camel safari. Saleem and Taka were very helpful, pleasant and professional. The food they prepared was plentiful and delicious. The cots to sleep on were very clean and comfortable. The whole experience was amazing and worth the money. Don't chance it with any of the other many, many camel safari businesses in town who are trying to copy these guys. They have been in business for almost 40 years and it shows!

• Perfect two-day camel safari.

  The safari was breathtaking. We were in a small group of four and didn't see anyone else for two days. Our guide taga ram and his son have cooked delicious for us the whole trip. We were able to help and see how traditional cooking was done. We were able to drive ourselves with our camel for two days. Sleeping under the stars was a wonderful experience. The beds and sheets were very clean. The owner Vikram was very welcoming. At no extra cost he picked us up from the station and led us to the hotel.   The tour was beautiful! I had a lot of anticipation and it was soo worth it! Enjoyed every second 🥰 The family of the company is very friendly and accommodating, we were allowed to drop off our luggage at their place and shower at their place after the safari and were even driven to the train station! You speak good English and he told us about himself and living in India. Also the camelboy named Tagaram and his son were super nice and accommodating! He cooked very well and we were allowed to make Chapatti. It was a beautiful experience and I would recommend it to anyone!

  We had a wonderful desert camel safari experience with Adventure Camel safari. Everything was smooth and well organised. The communication was top tier and we were well informed about what we should expect and what we should bring with us. We were well looked after throughout. We had friendly guides and friendly camels too! The food was delicious! The night under the stars was mesmerising! And the hospitality from Vikram and his team was top notch! Would highly recommend Adventure Camels if you are looking for a safe, easy and memorable experience in the Thar desert.
