Day 1: Imlil (1740m) - Tizi n'Tamatert (2270 m) - Imenane valley - Tacheddirt (2400 m) You will meet your guide and mule team in Imlil in the morning. After a welcome mint tea, gear will be stowed on the mules and you will start the trek. The first objective is the pass you see up to your left if you are facing up the valley. The route passes the villages of Ait Souka and Tamatert and enters the forested trails up to the pass at Tizi n'Tamatert at 2270 m. The views back and forward are just outstanding! Rest here a while and enjoy a freshly squeezed orange juice form the small kiosk and soak up the views. From here, the route will drop down to the valley floor where you can have a lunch break. After lunch you will trek up the valley to Tacheddirt where the night will be spent in a local gite

Day 2: Imenane valley - Tizi n'Aguersioual (2100 m) - Aguersioual village (1650 m) The second day starts with a heart local breakfast, mules are packed and the trek starts. You will follow the valley passing through several Berber villages; this gives you an opportunity to see up close the buildings, people and lifestyle as they go about their farming and daily routines, feeding animals and tending crops. The route then winds its way uphill to Tizi n'Aguersioual, here the views are also exceptional as you straddle the two valleys form this high point. The trek then descends, passing villages perched on the mountainside, to the roadside village of Aguersioual where your transport will be waiting. Lunch will be in the valley by the river. After Imlil and Imnan valleys trek, you can return to Marrakech or opt to stay nearby in one of the guesthouses in Imlil or another village.

Had such a wonderful time hiking the Atlas Mountains and exploring the villages and learning about the locals’ ways of life. Our guide Kamal was incredible, so easy going and knowledgable- he taught us a lot. Highlight of our trip!

Our guide was called kamal he was top class. Our group was one of the first to go up in the new snow, kamal kept us all safe and made sure everyone had a good time and got some top quality pictures. Top man. Inshalah

I and a friend of mine did a two-day trip in the Atlas Mountains with a view of Toubkal, and it was honestly one of the best short getaways I’ve had. Our guide Kamal made the whole experience super relaxed – he was really kind, easy to talk to, and knew plenty about the culture and interesting fact about the region. The hike itself was well thought out: not too rushed, but still with enough challenge to feel like you’ve earned the views. And the views were breathtaking – frankly, I think the view on Mt. Toubkal alone is a little overrated. Instead the valleys and the view from the mountain pass were stunning. Spending the night in a small village nearby was a really nice contrast to the hiking part, and it gave the whole trip more depth than just a walk up and down. Food-wise, both lunch and dinner were great. After hiking all day, sitting down for a proper, tasty meal felt perfect. Overall, I’d recommend this to anyone who wants a mix of nature, local culture, and good company.

The views were amazing, the food was even better, and the 2 places where we stayed were equally amazing. Everything was paid for and it was the best part of our entire Morroco trip. couldn't recommend it more. Our guide Kamal was extremely nice, knowledgeable and all around a fun person to be around and he made the trip an unforgettable experience. I did this trip with a friend back in may. We booked the 3 day trip however we had to leave early and they were extremely helpful with even organizing and paying for the taxi.

My best friend and I went on this hike a couple of days ago and it was amazing! Kamal was a brilliant guide, telling us all about the area and answering all the random questions we had. Our stay at the riad was also super comfortable, and the food we were provided was great! I didn’t struggle with any part of the hike, but would advise wearing sturdy shoes as the trail is very gravelly in places. The first day was spent going up and over a pass, before heading towards the village we were staying in. On the second day we went up and over a different pass before descending again - some beautiful views on both days! I would really recommend this hike and can’t thank Kamal enough for allowing us a brief glimpse into mountain life!

5 star Experience! Can not recommend Kamal highly enough! He was very knowledgeable friendly and a great guide! He took us and another couple on a 2 day trip around the Atlas Mountains and we stayed in a lovely Berber house where we felt very welcomed! 5 stars. Would highly recommend.

Kamal is really the best guide! The organization of the trek from beginning to end was a success. The support at each stage of the course was exceptional, especially in moments of difficulty (mountain sickness). A guide full of humor, sincerity and kindness. You will not regret spending these moments with him!

Our 2-day hike went wonderfully! Breathtaking landscapes, great encounters, and lots of laughter with Kamal and the other participants. I wholeheartedly recommend Kamal, always attentive and incredibly kind <3 (Love Fatima Couscous too)
