Morning Pickup and Transfer: Your adventure starts with an 8:00 a.m. pickup from your Cusco hotel. We’ll transfer you to the minivan station, where you can enjoy complimentary snacks and beverages. Then, we’ll drive for 2 hours to Ollantaytambo train station, offering scenic views along the way. Train Journey to Aguas Calientes: At Ollantaytambo, board the scenic tourist train to Aguas Calientes. This 2-hour ride features stunning Andean mountain and Inca ruin views. Arrival in Aguas Calientes: Upon arrival, we'll transfer you to your hotel. Afternoon Exploration: From 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., enjoy free time to explore Aguas Calientes, visit the butterfly sanctuary, relax in hot springs, or shop at the market. Dinner and Briefing: At 6:00 p.m., join us for dinner. We’ll introduce your guide and discuss your visit to Machu Picchu the next day.

Early Morning Adventure: Wake up at 4:30 a.m. have breakfast and trek to Machu Picchu, meeting your guide at the entrance at 7:00am. Enjoy the sunrise over the ruins. The hike takes about 1.5 hours. Guided Tour of Machu Picchu: Your guide will offer a 2-hour tour of Machu Picchu, sharing its history. Afterward, explore the citadel on your own. Explore at Your Own Pace: Spend as much time as you like exploring, with extra options to climb Machu Picchu Mountain or Huayna Picchu (let us know to book the ticket in advance), visit the Sun Gate, or see the Inca Bridge. Return Journey: Walk back to Aguas Calientes, visit the Machu Picchu Museum. Then you have free time to look for something to eat (Lunch not included the second day), retrieve your backpack, and take the train back to Ollantaytambo. Return to Cusco: From Ollantaytambo, we take you by bus to Cusco, arriving at San Francisco Square around 9:30 p.m. Arrival time may vary depending on your train schedule.

5.00Thank you so much for sending us Victor as our guide to Machu Picchu. Víctor is an excellent guide. He is very kind, patient and knowledgeable about Machu Picchu and Inca culture. We learned so much from him. He showed many historical pictures of Machu Picchu from books that he carried with him. My phone battery was dying and Victor let us use his phone to take pictures of this unforgettable experience. He even saved a digital copy of our return bus tickets on his phone, so that we could return to AguasCalientes. It was a wonderful day. We are tired, but very happy

5.00This was one of the best tours that we’ve gotten In a long time, starting with Nixon getting everything set up for us and made sure we were taken care of 100% From our driver from hotel to the bus station Edgar was very helpful and cheerful, Vanessa who meet us in the town before MachuPicchu guided us perfectly to make sure we got our tickets for MachuPicchu seeing that we made the trip last minute and they made it happen! Nixon is a great trip advisor/coordinator all around great tour! Highly recommend!

The guide on the Machupicchu was really knowledgeable and we had a super fantastic tour, with excellent weather and really good views. We made lot’s of pictures to remember this super awesome experience.

5.00Being from the U.S. with our poor spanglish speaking skills Nixon expeditions watched over our excursion every detail from our hotel in cusco and back. I was greatfull that they went out of their way to not only provide a service of a tour but had the concern that their customer stayed safe in regards to their ability and needs. Glad we opted for train instead of car we would have been too tired and beat up.
