This premier and most popular cruise offers a two-hour adventure in Orange Beach, AL aboard The Explorer, our 40' pontoon-style vessel. It blends the excitement of dolphin watching with extra time to relax on the water. Our friendly guide and captain highlight local plants and wildlife, from osprey nests and herons to bald eagles and red-tailed hawks. The Explorer can get close to the shore needing only 16 to 18 inches of water, giving you a one-of-a-kind experience few other boats can match.

Dolphin sightings are guaranteed, or your next trip is FREE! As we seek our local dolphin pod, we will navigate the scenic back bays of Orange Beach, Alabama. Our knowledgeable tour guide and captain point out the local flora and fauna. You may see osprey and their nests, herons, bald eagles, and red-tailed hawks. The Explorer allows us to get as close as safely possible to the banks and the local marine and wildlife. Because the boat only needs 16 to 18 inches of water underneath, we can sneak into creeks where few other boats can go, providing you with a truly unique and memorable experience!

5.00The whole crew was awesome and made the experience fun! They even made sounds to get the dolphins to come. We had extra time and they took us past special spots they normally don’t get to!

5.00Capt Smitty was excellent in keeping all our interests high. We were very fortunate and within 10 minutes saw a lone dolphin charging the surface in hunting fish. Later while in the bay we saw a couple of pods and again some singles. Due to those early blessings, we got to see more of the bay than most.

5.00We had a family of 6 and we had a great time. Easy to check in and we booked online. We are experienced with this company. We have boated with them for many years. We were able to see dolphins and have a fun ride. Everyone working the boat was great.

5.00Great short boat ride with family in town. Captain and crew were outstanding. Cool but decent weather and saw dolphins numerous times. Highly recommended!

5.00We were worried about the sudden cold snap the area experienced on the day we took the tour. The crew were very understanding and provided hot drinks and blankets to help with the chill. Despite the weather, we had a fabulous time and we were successful in finding lots of dolphins and birds. This is the second time we've used this tour company when we have family visit, and it was another wonderful experience.

5.00Our two-hour dolphin tour was absolutely fantastic! Captain Smitty made the entire experience unforgettable. He was incredibly patient and made sure everyone had plenty of time to truly enjoy watching the dolphins. We never felt rushed, and he took the time to position the boat so we could get great views while keeping everything relaxed and fun. One of the highlights was how great he was with the kids. Captain Smitty let each child have a turn being the “captain” of the boat, which completely made their day. It was such a thoughtful touch and showed how much he cares about making the experience special for everyone on board. Way to go on delegation, Captain! If you’re looking for a fun, family-friendly dolphin tour where the captain genuinely wants you to have a great time, this is it. Highly recommend
