This premier and most popular cruise offers a two-hour adventure in Orange Beach, AL aboard The Explorer, our 40' pontoon-style vessel. It blends the excitement of dolphin watching with extra time to relax on the water. Our friendly guide and captain highlight local plants and wildlife, from osprey nests and herons to bald eagles and red-tailed hawks. The Explorer can get close to the shore needing only 16 to 18 inches of water, giving you a one-of-a-kind experience few other boats can match.

Dolphin sightings are guaranteed, or your next trip is FREE! As we seek our local dolphin pod, we will navigate the scenic back bays of Orange Beach, Alabama. Our knowledgeable tour guide and captain point out the local flora and fauna. You may see osprey and their nests, herons, bald eagles, and red-tailed hawks. The Explorer allows us to get as close as safely possible to the banks and the local marine and wildlife. Because the boat only needs 16 to 18 inches of water underneath, we can sneak into creeks where few other boats can go, providing you with a truly unique and memorable experience!

5.00It was great! The staff was amazing! Got to see a lot of dolphins and birds. The dolphins even jumped 4 times for us. It was a great experience. Rate it 100/10 definitely will recommend for any age!

5.00I've been on quite a few dolphin tours, this was hands down the absolute best one I have ever been on. Capt Smitty and his crew were awesome. We saw non-stop dolphins for 2 hours.

4.00The tour was very well done. Weather was great. Boat was clean and comfortable. Located an area that had lots of dolphins and birds to watch. Staff onboard were friendly and accommodating. Only "complaint" is the tour was billed as a 2-hour tour, but we returned to port after only 90 minutes.

5.00I've been on a few dolphin tours, but this was best. One of my grand daughters told me she counted 56 dolphin site'ings. We even saw several baby ones. Crew was fabulous!

5.00Everything was excellent! It was rainy, so they provided ponchos. The boat was covered. But it was so nice to have to option to go out on the deck and not be wet.

5.00The 2 hour dolphin tour through Cretacean cruises was wonderful! The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. The frozen cocktails were delicious! We saw two different pods of 3 dolphins each and we got to see and learn about the birds in the area as well. Afterwards we got lunch at The Wharf and did some shopping, it was a wonderful excursion! Fun for families or couples. I would highly recommend booking through them if you are looking for a dolphin cruise near gulf shores/orange beach with delicious cocktails and knowledgeable guides. Plus they guarantee you see a dolphin or the next trip is free!

5.00Friendly crew with great knowledge of the bay and the animals within it. Made my 2 year old daughter’s day by how nice they were to her. This is my second time on this ride (other was two years ago) and we saw dolphins both times

5.00Super fun. The captain and the crew were all great. We saw a lot of dolphins and the crew told us many facts about dolphins and pelicans. I highly recommend taking this tour.
