This premier and most popular cruise offers a two-hour adventure in Orange Beach, AL aboard The Explorer, our 40' pontoon-style vessel. It blends the excitement of dolphin watching with extra time to relax on the water. Our friendly guide and captain highlight local plants and wildlife, from osprey nests and herons to bald eagles and red-tailed hawks. The Explorer can get close to the shore needing only 16 to 18 inches of water, giving you a one-of-a-kind experience few other boats can match.

Dolphin sightings are guaranteed, or your next trip is FREE! As we seek our local dolphin pod, we will navigate the scenic back bays of Orange Beach, Alabama. Our knowledgeable tour guide and captain point out the local flora and fauna. You may see osprey and their nests, herons, bald eagles, and red-tailed hawks. The Explorer allows us to get as close as safely possible to the banks and the local marine and wildlife. Because the boat only needs 16 to 18 inches of water underneath, we can sneak into creeks where few other boats can go, providing you with a truly unique and memorable experience!

We did a Valentine's Day Cruise with Captain Ray! We enjoyed our time and did see several dolphins in the canal. Because it was a super windy day, we did not see many dolphins in Wolf Bay, but the staff still pointed out TONS of birds, plants, and the history of the area which made the cruise still feel worth it! I learned a lot about the dolphins and wildlife in the area. We went on the morning cruise, and it was slightly chilly with the wind so bring a light jacket just in case! You can also get up and walk on the pontoon boat to look for dolphins. Our cruise wasn't crowded since it was the morning time slot, so it was nice to be able to look in all directions. There is a full bar on board with non-alcoholic beverages and snacks. We thought the non-alcoholic drinks and snacks were reasonably priced (we don't drink so I'm unsure on the drink prices). I will definitely tell my friends and family to do this cruise if they come through here! We also booked this through TripAdvisor, so we got a deal!

Tour was great ... fun and delivered the dolphins and other information! The crew was entertaining and kind. Only complaint is that a tip in advance is forced to complete the order. Since a tip is meant to reward performance (T-I-P = 'to-insure-performance'), forcing it on the front end is not appreciated. Then there was a bucket for tips to 'thank' the crew at the entrance/exit of the boat. Not a fan of that mentality that seems to try to take advantage of vacationers.

2-hour sightseeing cruise from Orange Beach; saw five dolphins and birds (like herons and egrets) on bay; local flora and fauna; smooth sailing on a sunny day; souvenir cups containing margaritas were a fun plus.

This was a great tour! We saw dolphins, brown pelicans, white egrets, and comorants. Captain Ray and crew were wonderful, taking us where the wildlife was and explaining the area and it's history.

This Dolphin excursion is tons of fun. The craft is a modified pontoon boat with comfortable bench seating and a partially shaded seating area. The crew was great! Our Captain, Captain Jonny was informative and entertaining. Whole crew was very friendly. We saw tons of dolphins, osprey, and pelicans. Added bonus…the craft has a full bar and snacks (for additional cost)! We had a blast and would 100% recommend!
