One of the best ways to see the Lowcountry is from a kayak! On this 2-hour guided tour you'll embark from Shelter Cove Marina and kayak in the Broad Creek. You'll receive a brief paddle clinic followed by a nature based tour of salt marshes, tidal rivers and creeks. Get the chance to spot dolphins, birds, take in the fantastic views and learn about the rich history and culture of Hilton Head. We encourage clothing appropriate for water activities and bringing water, snacks, and sunscreen. Children 12 & under MUST be accompanied by an adult in a double kayak. 5.00Despite being a bit cold and windy, this tour was both fun and educational. Shannon our guide helped us navigate the salt water marshes with confidence. The kayaks and equipment were nice and in good working order. We all had a great time. Highly recommend it.
We’ll be back to kayak again!

5.00This was a wonderful experience. Hodge, our guide, was the perfect combination of kayaking expertise; nature knowledge, and outgoing personality. We saw multiple dolphins, great blue herons and marsh wrens- and learned so much about these and more wildlife. Highly recommend!

5.00Completely worth it! The ease of booking. There was high winds the day we scheduled and I contacted Outside. Shannon was friendly and super helpful. We rescheduled with ease for the next day. When we arrived it was easy to locate. Super friendly when we checked in. I am a larger person and when I asked questions about life jackets and boat weight they treated me with smiles and respect. No concerns at all. Laura was our tour guide and she was terrific. Same casual approach to my concerns about getting in the kayak. She was informative, chill and yet safe. We highly recommend Shelter Cove Marina and Outside. Thank you for the adventure.

5.00Great kayak excursion with Phillip at Outside Hilton Head tours! We learned a lot about the salt marsh and sound. Saw some cool birds and crabs. We had kayaked before but the tutorial in the beginning was helpful. We kayaked with our two daughters (14 and 11 years old) and all did a single kayak. The tour length was perfect and our group size felt manageable. Highly recommend!

5.00I had such an incredible experience on this kayaking tour, and it was all thanks to our amazing guide, Shannon! She was knowledgeable, patient, and made my husband and I feel comfortable from the very beginning. Her passion for what she does really showed, and she went above and beyond to make sure we were safe while still having an unforgettable time. She pointed out so many cool sights along the way and shared interesting facts that made the tour even more enjoyable. On top of that, her positive energy and encouragement made the whole experience feel fun and relaxed I would highly recommend this tour to anyone, especially with her as your guide. She truly made the day special!
