Tours leave from the Grattan statue, College Green, opposite Trinity College front gate and enter the campus where we outline its history as Ireland's oldest university (1592) & its most valuable artefact, the Book of Kells, an 8th century manuscript of the four Gospels, written in Latin.

Good intro to Irish history

5.00Jody was really friendly and did a great job at condensing as much as he could in 2 hours. We had no knowledge of Irish history before the walk, so this was a nice way to see the city and learn more about it. Jody recommend lunch spots after the walk, which was a nice bonus!

5.00Colm was an exceptional guide, knowing the history, geography and a great voice to sing pertinent Irish verses. Well worth it and a great introduction to the city.
Disappointing Tour

2.00The guide on this tour was a history professor at Trinity College He was articulate and obviously knew a lot about the history of Ireland and Dublin. BUT, we were disappointed and left the tour after a bit. The tour caps at 25 people. Our tour had just 19. With the noise of the traffic around us and no tour headphones, it was very hard to hear the guide. He didn’t position himself so that no one was behind him and with the crowded sidewalks and 19 people trying to hear, some people were left in the back. When this happened to us, we could not hear anything. In addition, he told history by stating facts without the stories and theatrics which makes history come alive. Very disappointing and I would not recommend it. I believe the guides name was Tommy

5.00Great tour for those interested in history. We covered a lot of territory history-wise, from pre-history to modern times. Tommy, our guide, was knowledgeable and entertaining. We really enjoyed the emphasis on history.

5.00This was a great experience. Jody was our guide, a local history grad from Trinity College. He was passionate, knowledgeable, funny and provided a comprehensive review of Irish history in a chronological order. It was enjoyable and we did not know how did 2 hours go that quickly

5.00This was a great tour. Our guide knows a lot of Irish history, had great anecdotes, is very personabl, and overall gave us a great time. I was a history major in college and I definitely recommend this tour.

5.00Very good tour thru the Old Town area of Dublin. Our guide was super with great knowledge of Dublin/Irish history, many pictures, and he was quite the singer.

5.00Just incredible. If Jody did a whole day tour, we'd sign up in a blink. So engaging, passionate and knowledgeable. Worth every cent and then some. Can't say what the other tours a like, but sign up for this.
