Peter deserves the highest praise for his tour. He is extremely knowledgeable and very funny. We arrived for the tour on the wrong day and he accommodated us with no fuss. As a result of his observations we were able to look at Bruges for the remainder of our visit with a greater appreciation for the city and its history. I strongly recommend him and if you do choose his tour make sure you tip him well.

Guide was excellent, great storytelling and historical in nature. The two hours flew by and we really enjoyed it. The tour starts and ends at the main square and takes you all round Bruges.

Peter led us on an excellent tour of central Bruges. He was born and bred in the city and clearly has a passion for and deep knowledge of the place. Meeting as expected in the Maarkt his focus is heavily on the history of Bruges but with plenty to say on social history, art and architecture all interspersed with great recommendations for food, drink, shopping and places to explore further. He speaks excellent English and has some visual aids to back up his talk, all delivered appropriately and with excellent good humour. Peter’s tour is very well researched and he is happy to take questions on any subject related to the city. He took our group of 25-30 adults at a comfortable pace and treated us all to a lovely praline at one of his favourite chocolate shops. At the end he gives you a QR code to access details of all his recommendations. He is rewarded by tips at the end of the tour. Very highly recommended.

It's nice tour with a guide full of energy and humour. We weren't aware that it was a tip tour. We would preferred , especially that it was a team (from work) activity, to pay for the tour than to pay tips at the end.
