Lawrence's Spring

The Spring is at the top of a short scramble - head to the Fig Tree. It is located 2 km southwest of Wadi Rum village. The spring is named in honor of Lawrence's evocative description in The Seven Pillars of Wisdom: "in front of us a path, pale with use, zigzagged up the cliff-plinth... Among the trees, in the hidden crannies of the rock, issued strange cries, the echoes, turned into music, of the Arabs watering the camels at the springs which flowed out three hundred feet above the ground." Although the pool itself is largely unimpressive, being a stagnant puddle, the views across the desert are truly stunning.

It was a very good experience in a limited time, more than enough to feel local people way of life. Tour guide is very hospitable and also flexible to arrange the tour based on your expectations so before the tour you should contact him to arrange the details.

I had an excellent time. As a solo female traveler it was nice to feel safe the whole time. I was given as much or as little time as I wanted at each stop. Highly recommend this tour, especially if you are short on time and want to hit the highlights and still feel like you saw Wadi Rum!

This is a perfect 2 hours. I had limited time but the brilliant Awwad made it worthwhile. Great English, so knowledgeable so much so the other guides were taking notes. A gentle and fascinating Jeep ride through the red desert, canyon, dunes, even a little tea with the bedouins ..just magic!

Niesamowite miejsce! Niesamowity czas. Fantastyczni ludzie. Właściciel Awwad jest niesamowitą osobą. Dbał o całą naszą rodzinę w sposób niebywały. Kucharz Mitab przygotowywał fantastyczne posiłki. Moi mali synowie zapamietają na pewno ten pobyt do końca życia. Polecam z całych sił. Amazing place! Amazing time. Fantastic people. The owner Awwad is an amazing person. He took care of our entire family in an incredible way. Mitab the chef prepared fantastic meals. My little sons will definitely remember this stay for the rest of their lives. I recommend with all my strength.
