Glide through the labyrinth of uncut narrow nature-made, fully-shaded, low hanging tree tunnels and waterways. As you emerge from the mangrove jungle, a winding open waterway invites you to explore shallow sandbars where fascinating small marine life abound. Witness many species of avian wildlife from the large great blue heron to the small songbirds as they go about their daily routines.

Drift along the gently flowing waters, embraced by the tranquility and protection of the dense jungle. Venture into secluded waterways and witness the local avian life soaring high above and hiding amidst the lush foliage. Prepare for an invigorating kayak adventure through fully shaded low hanging tree canopied passages barely wide-enough for your kayak. This secluded jungle remains untouched by motorized watercraft, shielded by shallow water, sandbars, enclosed low overhead tunnels and extremely narrow pristine waterways. You can hear the faintest sounds of nature in this protected aquatic preserve. As you emerge from the mangroves, a winding open waterway beckons, inviting you to explore tannin-colored shallow sandbars teeming with fascinating marine life like stingrays, puffer fish, and crabs. 5.00Our guide was Mark and we had a fantastic trip. This tour gives you a view of a part of Florida that is rarely seen and is only accessible via kayak. We navigated tranquil mangrove forests and saw a large variety of native fauna and flora. I highly recommend this tour! P.S. No gators LOL!

5.00Mark is a very experienced, knowledgeable guide with a calm demeanor. He needed to be as the other couple on the tour had no kayaking experience and significant balance problems. Mark had done a good job of instructing them but they still managed to tip the kayaks twice. Mark handled it very calmly and got them back to shore, where he told them he was going to refund their money. Once we got on our way it was a terrific, fun, educational tour through the mangroves. Highly recommended.

5.00We totally enjoyed our mangrove jungle kayak trip! Mark was extremely knowledgeable and friendly, patient and helpful! The kayaks were comfortable and easy to maneuver. They even had room for a cooler! Mark communicated with us ahead of time regarding what to expect in what we would need. It was a great experience.

5.00Mark is the owner,operator,and a terrific guide. He explained everything in detail that we were about to see on our adventure. He was also very patient with us 1st time kayakers. Friendly and personable, we will take another trip with him when we visit again

5.00Fantastic!! I could have stayed in the mangroves all day. What a peaceful and tranquil place. Mark was a wonderful guide giving us loads of information on the plant and animals in the groves. We saw so many things!! I learned so much and loved every minute of this tour!! We were a perfect sized group with only 4 canoes total and the canoes are fantastic. First rate equipment.

5.00What a hidden gem! What a beautiful day spent exploring the mangrove tunnels. Relaxing, tranquil, and educational. Mark was excellent. He was very knowledgeable and we learned so much about the mangrove system and local area. As Florida natives, it’s getting difficult to find places to paddle that aren’t overcrowded. We were the only ones out in the preserve! We saw fish, various birds, and even a mangrove snake! A very special, “real” old Florida experience. Highly recommend!

5.00Incredible tour with Mark. Just incredible. Nice easy relaxing pace, but we covered so much and saw so much! Mark is truly someone who enjoys what he does and respects nature greatly, and this kind of appreciation shows in the tour and his education. He took us to true hidden gems, away from all the commotion and traffic of others tours making this tour as private as one could ask for. Thanks for an incredible day!

5.00Mark was an excellent tour guide and very informative regarding the mangroves, plant life, and wildlife in the preserve. The kayaks have high-back seats which helped make it a comfortable and relaxing adventure while exploring the tranquil waterways. Overall this was a very peaceful and enjoyable jungle experience.
If you want a fabulous kayaking, adventure go with rivers to ocean kayaking

5.00Went on a 2 hr kayaking trip in the St. Lucie Preserve today with Mark who runs the Rivers to Ocean Kayaking Co. We went through mangrove tunnels, and he pointed out the interesting facts about the 3 types of mangrove trees in this area. Mark also was very knowledge about the birds, the fish and the other wildlife as well as the historical significance of the area. I loved being out there and recommend it highly!
