This jungle is off the beaten path, made by nature, uncut and not groomed for tourism, therefore; it is inaccessible to motorized watercraft and rarely visited by other tours. Glide through the labyrinth of uncut narrow nature-made, fully-shaded, low hanging tree tunnels and waterways. See the beauty, hear just the sounds of nature and feel the tranquility during this unique escape.
As you emerge from the mangrove jungle, a winding open waterway invites you to explore shallow sandbars where fascinating small marine life abound. Witness many species of avian wildlife from the large great blue heron to the small songbirds as they go about their daily routines.

Venture into secluded waterways and witness the local avian life soaring high above and hiding amidst the lush foliage. Prepare for an invigorating kayak adventure through fully shaded low hanging tree canopied passages barely wide-enough for your kayak. This secluded jungle remains untouched by motorized watercraft, shielded by shallow water, sandbars, enclosed low overhead tunnels and extremely narrow pristine waterways. You can hear the faintest sounds of nature in this protected aquatic preserve. As you emerge from the mangroves, a winding open waterway beckons, inviting you to explore tannin-colored shallow sandbars teeming with fascinating marine life like stingrays, puffer fish, and crabs. Observe ibises, egrets, herons, woodpeckers and other birds in their daily routines. Enjoy this ecological gem just a few miles from the bustling Fort Pierce inlet.

5.00This kayak tour was absolutely amazing! Our guide truly went out of his way to make sure we had the best experience possible. From start to finish, he was knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely cared about making the tour fun and memorable. He made everyone feel comfortable on the water and shared great insights along the way. You can tell he’s passionate about what he does, and it really made the experience special. I would 100% recommend this tour to anyone looking for an unforgettable kayaking experience!

5.00We’re planning our next trip to FL simply to do another tour with Rivers to Oceans Kayaking. Paddling (easy!) through a fascinating and unique environment like the mangrove jungle with someone as knowledgeable as our guide Mark is wonderful; that he has a genuine passion for this area and provides the best visitor care and service left us wanting to go again! We learned so much about this place - with the only trees the world that can grow in salt water, the critters that depend on this ecosystem, it’s prehistoric support of the Glades natives and it’s ongoing role in keeping the coast intact. Who knew! Well we do now😊; I can only highly recommend that you go yourself. P.S., it’s really fun!

5.00This is an amazing tour! I highly recommend Rivers to Ocean Kayaking. We went through the mangroves, which was peaceful and beautiful. The tour guide knew a lot about the wildlife and environment of the mangroves. We saw so many beautiful birds, and other aquatic life. There were fish, crabs, jellyfish, and even dolphins! You will have a great time!

5.00We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 hour tour with Rivers to Ocean Kayaking! Our friends took a longer tour in the past and highly recommended Mark. The only reason we didn’t take an all day tour was because we only had 2 days in the area but we are definitely coming back. We had never seen mangroves up close like that and learned so much from Mark! Seeing, touching and even licking the red mangrove salty leaf is an experience we will never forget ❤️ Thank you for a great experience!

5.002 minutes ago New Incredible 2 hr archeological kayak tour through the mangroves in Fort Pierce!! Mark our tour guide was phenomenal. Extremely knowledgeable of the surroundings, and explained everything which made the tour interesting. Such a peaceful and zen kayak experience. We saw egrets, osprey, blue herons, and other native creatures to the mangroves. My husband loved it (it was my birthday present to him). We would definitely go again with Mark and do a longer kayak adventure next time. The kayaks are so comfortable by the way. The Cadillac of kayaks! Thank you Mark for a memorable day!! And for the pictures!

We took our 11 yr old granddaughter and hopped in a 3 person kayak and Mark and Fabia took us on an adventure through the mangroves; explaining everything to us and introducing us to beautiful FL plants, little creatures, and even prehistoric sites. We had so much fun while learning many new things about the Fl estuary. We enjoyed ourselves thoroughly, only sad we took the shorter tour, even our granddaughter said the same. We recommend this tour to all and we plan to go again, next time on the longer tour. PS: We were given suggestions about what to bring, ie: sunscreen, hats, etc…great reminder. It’s obvious that the owners really enjoy providing these tours and it shows. We can’t recommend this activity more highly.

5.00Had a great tour with Mark. I was the only person signed up for a Saturday morning tour. Mark was happy to meet me and take me out through the mangroves. Got to learn about all the different mangroves and history of the area.
