Guaranteed whale sightings. Our boat is newly remodeled for passenger comfort. This boat is a photographers dream, and boasts 360-degree views with plenty of elbow room. Passengers aren’t the only ones who love our vessel, whales love a pink boat!
Our captains and crew have over 25 years of experience boating and whale watching on Maui. This experience combined with the small group allows for an intimate and engaging experience and you will have all your whale questions answered. Family-owned and operated. Equipped with a hydrophone on board to hear the whales underwater.
Owners, captains and crew are Lahaina Fire survivors and are excited to have your support and get back out on the water.

Welcome aboard! Get ready for the adventure of a lifetime with us. Check in at MALA BOAT RAMP at least 20 MINUTES prior to departure. We recommend easy to remove footwear as this is a no shoes cruise! Start your day in the typically calmest conditions of early morning with the whales in their natural wild habitat and breeding grounds of the national marine sanctuary of Maui's waters, up close and without the crowds. Guided tours by expert and experienced captain and crew. Enjoy views of Moloka'i, Lana'i, Kaho'olawe, Haleakala and the West Maui mountains in the background and guaranteed whale sightings.

5.00Spectacular! Simply spectacular! Shannon, our captain, and Allison, our crew, were deeply knowledgeable and easily shared information about the whales and their behaviors. We were stunned to have such incredible up close viewing when the whales came to us and we were in “whale jail” until they moved away. We cannot recommend this company more highly. Environmentally sensitive, female owned and operated, attention to safety for us and the whales, and even shared a go pro video of the whales underwater antics. BOOK THIS TOUR!

5.00Excellent trip! Highly recommend! Shannon and Laney (apologies if spelling incorrect) were fantastic, both very knowledgeable. It’s also a great boat and the group size is small which was perfect - we saw lots that looked really busy. They took us to some brilliant spots away from other boats where we saw two different mother and baby groups . We did the first trip of the day (6.45am) and would also highly recommend this time as it was quiet and the water very calm. All in a great start to the day!

5.00The trip was spectacular! Hosts were so friendly and knowledgeable. Saw an abundance of whales but I’m sure every trip would be different. If we wouldn’t have seen one whale, the tour would still have been worth it. Would book them again in a heartbeat 👍

5.00M.O.A. gave us an amazing and unforgettable sunrise whale watching experience! They were very friendly. They were also informative on safety and what to expect during the tour. Mindy was very knowledgeable about humpback whales and answered everyone's questions. Within minutes they put us on whales. We were fortunate to observe 2 whales up close for well over an hour! What an incredible experience!! They even gave us videos from our trip! We've done quite a few tours in the Hawaiian islands including snorkeling, Haleakalā, hilo rides, etc. and M.O.A whale waching has ben our best experience so far!!

5.00We did the sunrise whale watching tour with Maui Ocean Adventures and had a truly wonderful experience. The staff was incredibly knowledgeable and shared so much interesting information about the whales and the surrounding ocean, which made the experience even more meaningful. They also kept the trip light, engaging, and fun the entire time, creating a great balance of education and enjoyment. Watching the whales at sunrise was absolutely magical, and the crew made sure everyone felt comfortable and included. Highly recommend this tour if you’re looking for a memorable whale watching experience in Maui!
