Guaranteed whale sightings. Our boat is newly remodeled for passenger comfort. This boat is a photographers dream, and boasts 360-degree views with plenty of elbow room. Passengers aren’t the only ones who love our vessel, whales love a pink boat!
Our captains and crew have over 25 years of experience boating and whale watching on Maui. This experience combined with the small group allows for an intimate and engaging experience and you will have all your whale questions answered. Family-owned and operated. Equipped with a hydrophone on board to hear the whales underwater.
Owners, captains and crew are Lahaina Fire survivors and are excited to have your support and get back out on the water.

Welcome aboard! Get ready for the adventure of a lifetime with us. Check in at MALA BOAT RAMP at least 20 MINUTES prior to departure. We recommend easy to remove footwear as this is a no shoes cruise! Start your day in the typically calmest conditions of early morning with the whales in their natural wild habitat and breeding grounds of the national marine sanctuary of Maui's waters, up close and without the crowds. Guided tours by expert and experienced captain and crew. Enjoy views of Moloka'i, Lana'i, Kaho'olawe, Haleakala and the West Maui mountains in the background and guaranteed whale sightings.

5.00I reached out to Capt Chrissy about a group of friends that were interested in going on a whale watch. Let me tell you, she delivered! We love a sunrise whale watch, there is something about leaving the Mala dock and watching the sun rise over the Maui mountains... We cruised about 10 mins and found a pod of whales. The Captain and her deckhand Alison were amazing. This crew knew all about the humpback whales. They educated us on the breeding grounds, the fresh babies that were playing in the water and more. We spent 2 hours watching whales play. It is remarkable to think these gentle giants are just 30-40 feet beneath the surface and we are hanging out watching them play. Lilikoi, the golden made our trip that much more special. We had 16 of us on the boat that day. We learned, we gasped and we cheered! Fast forward to Sunday and 15 of us joined again for a whale watch with James and his amazing kind naturalist! (pls forgive me for not remembering her name) They are the most amazing photographers and taught us all about "chasing whale tails." we found a Russian mom whale and her baby. We learned about his history from this team. We also lost count of baby breaches. It was remarkable. James took us out and we "parked" and watched this group of whales just play. They slapped, dove, gently swam near the surface and the baby played. Again this sunset cruise was remarkable, there were full breaches, tails, splashes and just the peace of the vastness of the ocean. This was a special trip for our friends/family. Our friend passed away shortly after our tour last year. We felt her presence on these tours. Her family joined us to see what she saw and as the sun shined, and the whales played we felt peace. Thank you to Capt Chrissy, and her amazing crew for providing such a great tour. We highly recommend this company. They are safe, top notch, professional, kind and really understand the ocean and the respect of the whales. See you again friends. Aloha

5.00Amazing experience and 100% worth it. We had Shannon and Lainey, both of whom were skilled and knowledgeable. We got close to multiple whales, and even had a very close interaction with a whale swimming under our boat and surfacing next to it. Was also very cool to listen to them sing with the aqua phone. A few dolphins also decided to say hi and jump around nearby. Boat was smaller but stable and comfortably seated our party of about 16-20. I struggle with seasickness but took a angi-drowsy Dramamine and popped a ginger chew when getting on and had zero issues.

5.00My husband and I really enjoyed our sunrise whale watching adventure. We prefer being on a smaller boat and James and Mindy were great guides! We saw quite a few whales that were really fun to watch and even a couple dolphins. I would highly recommend the little pink boat!

5.00This boat was clean and great. There was enough seating for everyone who got on to see clearly. The people who ran the boat James and Mindy were very knowledgeable and friendly. They got us to the whales and we saw so many! The coolest thing was also listening to them with their microphone underwater. We rate this boat and its people 10/10 and we will definitely be back again! love love loved it! The price was right too! It was perfect! We also saw dolphins !

5.00Took the 6:45am sunrise tour in early March. Perfect low-wind conditions, easygoing, experienced crew (Capt Shannon, first mate Alison), comfortable boat with great views in all directions (and crates to store your stuff in). I recommend taking the sunrise tour because 7-10am generally provides the least amount of wind, which means a comfy trip and tons of visibility. Woman-owned business trying to recover from Lahaina wildfires—go support them! Reasonable prices too.
