Experience some of the best surfing in the UK! You’ll get suited up into a cosy wetsuit and get a board. Then we will make our way down over the dunes to the beautiful Dunnet beach. Our Scottish champion instructors will personalise the lesson to your ability level- whether that’s total beginner, just wanting to have some fun or taking your surfing to the next level. You'll get plenty of water time while our experienced coaches give you tips to improve.

5.00Brilliant lesson with Iona! Great communication before the lesson itself, equipment and wetsuit were in top condition, and everything ran super smoothly. Iona is a super teacher and was able to help me progesss quite a bit during the lesson, as well as giving loads of great info. about surf conditions, weather, wildlife, and more! Thanks - will be back

5.00What an amazing experience from start to finish! The service provided was exceptional and Finn was brilliant, always encouraging and was a brilliant instructor! Loved every minute! Communication was brilliant and Iona was brilliant ensuring I took the plunge and did it! Great memories and managed to catch my own wave thanks to Finn! 👍🙏✊

5.00Jake is the best !!! Thanks so much for being patient with my little girl . She enjoyed surfing so much and even managed to ride some waves . Both of us were delighted . Easy contact work Iona and payment was also easy . No problems just brilliant !

5.00Whilst exploring the North coast of Scotland we decided that surfing had to be part of the trip. We had an absolute blast! Dunnet Bay is beautiful and ideal for surf lessons. Parking was easy and communications were fantastic! Finn met us and was the most friendly, informative, fun instructor we could have dreamt of! Within a very short time (with Finn's assistance) we were up on our feet and actually surfing. Thank you Finn and Iona. It was radical!🤣 Tom and Sara x

5.00A truly fabulous experience! Iona was so helpful in coordinating our adventures. We did a private surf lesson with Finn and and RIB trip. Both were fantastic! The surf lesson was a huge standout for us; we never thought we’d actually get up on the boards as first time surfers! Finn was so encouraging and helpful and had fantastic vibes. We will never forget it- a true highlight of our trip. Highly recommend: if you’re nervous about it, just try! You’re in great hands!!

5.00Iona gave us a truly wonderful two hours introduction to surfing. My wife was pretty much dreading it but absolutely loved it and put that all down to the friendly and supportive guidance from Iona. Being in a private lesson made it really personal. I just about managed to stand on the board by the end, far exceeding my expectations. The kit was all supplied and in good condition. We had fab weather and surf conditions which made the experience all the more pleasurable. Thanks so much. If we ever get this far north again we will definitely be back for more!

5.00Iona was very helpful when arranging a lesson and equipment hire and Finn provided tuition, which was clear and concise. He was also friendly, encouraging and enthusiastic. The waves were also great on both Dunnet beach and Strathy beach.

5.00Iona was great, talked us through the basics. Then into the water, managed to go from kneeling to standing in one lesson....for 2/3 of our group! Plus the beach is just amazing!

5.00What a great experience!!! One of the best on our tour. Fin briefly showed and explained the most important and then we went straight into the water. Huge fun 😊! Many thanks to Fin, you were great!!! And it is actually really warm in the suits 😊. Highly recommended! 5.00Me and my friend did the NC500 and booked a private surf lesson with Ioana and we had an amazing time! The waves weren’t very high but ioana taught us all about the waves and what to look out for, and even managed to get me standing on the board (I’ve never managed this before!!) a great experience and definitely recommend.
