Onze-lieve-vrouw-bezoekingkerk
Away from all the crowds, you get a private tour of a small village that hides many secrets. For those interested in Templars, history, sacred geometry, ley lines and symbolism. Lissewege was a stop on the way to Compostella. You will visit the village and especially the church Our Lady Visitation. Find out why there is such a large church in a small village, what Celtic goddess was worshipped there, how you can tell that the church stands on a water spring, why the village is associated with the Templars, why the number 13 is not an unlucky number and why the church is connected to it, why there is a statue of an ex-Templar in the village square, what mysterious messages are written on a tomb, and see the Baphometh head in the church. Look at the paintings depicting the holy blood and Mary Magdalene. You can also visit the museum of time with unique clockwork and climb on the church tower to look at the surroundings (Bruges, Damme, port of Zeebrugge).
Standbeeld Willem Van Saeftinghe
You will learn about the story of William of Saeftinghe and the Battle of the Golden Spurs and why his statue stands in Lissewege. Find out why you can see that the village has Frankish origins.

Beautiful village full of streets and corners full of charm, immersed in a "sleeping" atmosphere. Ideal for a visit of a few hours with a gastronomic interlude in the bistro restaurant overlooking the main square.
