We get views of the wildlife of the salt marsh that people almost never have an opportunity to see. We sail daily from April until October so we always know where we are likely to see the most interesting birds and with 25 years of experience running these tours we know where we are likely to have the best trip. Our route varies daily depending on conditions.

An evening cruise through the coastal Salt Marsh behind Cape May and Wildwood viewing the birds and marine life that live there. We get up close to many different species of birds with views that people rarely get to see of some of the secretive birds of the wetlands. Being out in the wetlands every day for six months gives us a unique ability to find and closely visit with many different species of birds.

Simply does not get any better. If you are looking to discover wildlife in the bay with a knowledgeable captain and naturalist this is your trip. I go at least a couple times a year and see something new every time. I will even go a step further to say exploring with like minded bird watchers provides an equally enjoyable experience. The combination of discovery and camaraderie makes for great experience.
Highly recommended for repeat cruises!

Birding by Boat on the Osprey is a great experience. My husband and I have been several times now and we always really enjoy it. Every time we go out, we see birds we haven’t seen before. It’s great to go at different times of the year so that you get a whole different array of birds depending upon the season. Captain Bob and Patty are great - they know so much about the local wildlife and the area, and are very enjoyable to go birding with. Highly recommended checking out this tour.

Tour leader was very understanding of the timing of my arrival, not that I recommend showing up late! Most importantly, they knew where the birds are. I added several species to my life list: Yellow-crowned Night Heron, American Oystercatcher, and Ruddy Turnstone to name a few. Bring your camera on this trip, because you will get up close and personal with these beautiful animals!

Amazing time on the Osprey! Captain Bob and crew are pros, super knowledgeable not only about birds but also the geology and ecology of the salt marshes and coastal waters around Cape May. 10/10, we will definitely be back!

What a GREAT boat trip!! Couldn't be better--both the naturalist and the captain made sure we saw every possible bird-- all with the most wonderful explanations and detail. So friendly and such fun!! We will do it every year!!

Very knowledgeable and friendly. Beautiful views and saw so many species of birds. They provide binoculars which was a great addition.
