During this tour we travel off the beaten path from Lake Mývatn.

Our Side by side UTV buggies are a fantastic way to head into the wilderness.

The tour starts by our Snowmobile and Buggy base camp by Lake Mývatn.

There you will have an introduction to your ride before heading out, exploring, volcanoes, lava fields, deserts and much more along with a local guide.

During the tour we make sightseeing stops, step out of our UTV and learn abut the incredible geology and history of the region.

The UTV buggies are very easy to drive & surprisingly comfortable. The only thing you need is a driver license and a smile on your face.

We had an amazing experience on the buggy tour. Our guide, Alejandro, was informative, kind, and fun. We loved riding around and the landscape was amazing. We would definitely recommend for others!

Our buggy tour took place on a cold, snowy day in June. Alessandro made sure we were well-equipped and that we enjoyed every second. He was an excellent guide, telling us the geology and history of the areas we visited. Highly recommend this tour and Alessandro!

Anton took us on an incredible UTV tour. He was very welcoming, kind and knowledgable! The tour was about 2 hours with various beautiful sceneries. We all had a lot of fun and will be back.

We made a pleasure ATV trip with Alejandro. The time was great. He set us up well for a safe trip, took us across varying terrains and clearly described so much about the area and Icelandic life. You should do this trip when you are in the Mývatn Lake area.

What an amazing ATV tour ! This was great fun and you weren’t pressured to race with the other buggies. If you like quad biking you’ll love this.

We had a very pleasant experience with Geo Travel. During our visit to Myvatn we were supposed to do an UTV tour. However, due to unforeseen bad weather(even for Iceland) standards the tour wasn’t possible. Luckily the company provided us with a very good alternative, in the form of a flight with Mýflug Air over the lake and all the (pseudo) craters and surroundings in a Cessna. Very good problem solving at short notice. Flying with Mýflug Air in itself is a very good activity to do if you want to see the extend and beauty of the Vulcanic landscape in the vicinity of lake Myvatn. So in a sense this is also a compliment to Mýflug Air for making that experience possible. And a tip!

This was the most fun adventure you can have in a bunny suit wearing a space helmet! Our guide, Anton, was funny, informative, safe, and told interesting stories about Iceland and his family’s land. A definite addition to your families trip to Northern Iceland!
