Escape the hustle and bustle of Tamarindo with our unforgettable 2-hour ATV Pura Vida Adventure that takes you through hidden backroads and quaint villages nestled amidst the tropical dry forest of Guanacaste, Costa Rica. Navigate your way through breathtaking landscapes and panoramic vistas under the guidance of one of our expert tour guides. We'll explore the Tamarindo area along mountain trails that lead you through dense foliage, offering glimpses of rare pochote trees and iconic guanacaste trees. Keep an eye out for the area’s abundant wildlife, from playful howler monkeys to vibrant bird species. We’ll pause for a refreshing dip in the crystal-clear waters of secluded beaches like Playa Mina and Puerto Viejo at the southern tip of the idyllic Playa Conchal.
We have more than just one ATV so if you are traveling with more people just go along and book it as many times as needed or contact us directly for help.

Drivers must have a valid driver’s license and be at least 16-years-old. Passengers must be over 10-years-old.
The time not spent at the beaches is allotted to travel/driving time.

We'll stop at Playa Puerto Viejo, the southern point of one of Guanacaste coast's most beautiful beaches - Playa Conchal. Keep your eye out for howler monkeys in the trees near the entrance. And if you want, walk along the soft white sand and take a refreshing dip in the the clear turquoise water.
We'll then head over to a secluded beach called Playa Mina (or Playa Minas). You won't find many tourists here. Look out for wandering iguanas in the shade of the trees as well as hermit crabs on the sand. Be prepared for a spectacular sunset if you come during this time.

5.00This was such a wonderful experience ! Mantaraya adventures was our favorite part of staying in Tamarindo. Our guide , Jean Pierre , was the best ! He was very professional and super friendly . He consistently checked up on us to make sure we were doing okay. And he also took lots of amazing photos and videos of us driving . For anyone wondering about the ATV vehicles themselves, I must say that are in great condition. It felt comfortable to sit on and it was easy to handle. During our ride, we got to see Howler monkeys , Cows and were able to see playa Avellana, Playa Negra and Playa Flamingo as well local towns. If you're in Tamarindo and looking to book an ATV experience , I definitely recommend a tour with Mantaraya adventures.

5.00Jean Pierre took us on a perfectly guided private tour across the area around Tamarindo. He has a warm and welcoming personality spreading the pura vida lifestyle making everyone feel well within moments. The ATVs are modern and in top shape. Definitely recommended!

5.00Jamper Pierre was ourATV guide. He was wonderful ! Very attentive and attentive to our safety. The tour covered the places we wanted. We saw two beaches but did not get to drive our ATV on them. He took plenty of pictures of us driving and gave good instructions to drive it.

5.00Absolutely brilliant. As a complete novice in a quad, I had a tutorial and test ride and JP was great with instructions. He led the way into the jungle and the beached with hand signals of when to slow and when the terrain got bumpy. We had a lovely lunch and relaxion at lolas beach restaurant then continued the adventure. Very safe, very fun and lovely people ❤️ Also great value for money. Go for it!

5.00Friends recommended us to do a tour with ATVs in Tamarindo and it was really completely worth it. The Agency Guide (Mantarayaadventur) gave us the required devices and guidance at the beginning. During the time of the tour, we made several stops on some beaches. The activity has a good mix of adventure, adrenaline and fun. In my review, highly recommended.

5.00Very pleasant and fun experience. The Guide showed us the way very well and was always watching for us to have the best time possible. At first there is a little long way to the first beach but from there everything is pure adrenaline. We even managed to see a crocodile. I definitely recommend it

5.00100% recommendable. These ATVs are super powerful and the perfect roads to put those off-road vehicles to the test, ayayay!!! You can easily book on their website. The views of the Pacific beaches are excellent. These guys from Mantaraya Adventures really do a good job. ...and the surprise of the cold coconut water came at the perfect time

5.00Friendly and thoughtful team. Reliable equipment. Scenic route with great views. As a beginner I was nervous about driving an ATV on my own. JP gave me a full tutorial, ran me through some drills and taught me the hand signs I need to know to follow him. It was a lot of fun. On the way we saw howler monkeys and crabs. Great fun!
