This was the second night market tour that I took with my guide May Ei and again I had the most wonderful time with her. I would not have been able to experience the market like this on my own and thanks to May I was able to try so many delicious local foods along the way. These night market tours were the highlight of my trip to Taipei and I can only highly recommend May as a guide, she made the whole experience so much fun!

Our tour guide May-ei was great. So friendly and fun, and perfect food recommendations. We sampled 6 dishes we otherwise wouldn’t have found on our own. Highly recommend!!!

Joseph was incredible, we were so grateful to spend our first night in Taipei with him! It was very cool to walk through the market and learn about the food. I loved learning about the cultural aspects from a local - it is much more meaningful than wandering the market on your own. Plus, he gave us very useful tips, for example, telling us which foods not to eat so we wouldn’t get sick. Joseph was informative, funny, and an overall pleasure to spend time with. He even gave us recommendations for more restaurants to try and how to navigate the city! 10/10 would recommend, it was worth it!

An amazing way to visit your first night market, May Ei was so knowledgeable and could pick and choose where we ate and provided recommendations on what to try at other markets or general market food. Loved the Chinese herbal soup and baked buns definitely must tries.
