A €200 deposit is required, which will be refunded at the end of the rental if there is no damage to the car.

All customers with a reservation must check in 15 minutes before the start of the tour.

Maximum 2 people per vehicle.

Maximum weight per car 200kg (440lbs).

The minimum age to drive is 18 years old. Children from 7 to 12 years old or at least 1.20 m (3.93 feet) can travel in a booster seat (please let us know in advance if you need one). All minors must be accompanied by an adult, and a Liability Waiver must be signed for children up to 13 years old.

You need to bring a valid driver's license and an ID or passport. Copies of documents will not be accepted.

What happens if the car runs out of battery during my rental? You will need to call the phone number written on the car, and we will provide all the necessary support to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

All customers with reservations must check in 15 minutes before the start of the tour.

In case of bad weather conditions, if the company considers that there are no safe conditions to carry out the activity, it can be rescheduled for the same day, subject to availability.

We accept payments by debit or credit card, cash, and bank transfer (for groups only).

You can park the Spinach in spots designated for cars and motorcycles. Just be aware that some of these parking spots are paid.

The car's documentation is in the trunk, and it has liability insurance, just like in a typical car accident. Contact the support number to expedite the process.

Very difficult to drive overall - difficult to get used to the accelerator being on a handlebar with the brake as a pedal. Extremely difficult to manoeuvre, even just turning round corners. Also small - I’m 5 ft 10 and it felt very cramped. Felt unsafe driving it and returned it early
Great experience but will not repeat.

Easy to book which was great. Tablet with maps not that clear to follow through all the points. Suspension was very bad for 85kg man was a struggle could feel everything. Very bumpy roads or areas where you follow the route with tablet maps. Very hard to turn as steering wheel it’s like bike stearing. A part of that we enjoy it as it was just two hours.

We were surprised by the presence of Spinach Tours in Cape Verde and we couldn’t have chosen a better way to visit Sal. Without a doubt, the most fun way to visit the island! There are different tours adapted to the time and preference of each, accompanied by music and presentation of the history of each place. The staff is very friendly and available, especially the Harley who welcomed us and presented the program. Anxious to repeat at other destinations!

The experience was so much better than I was expecting! The 2h tour around the island was great, the cars are fun to drive and it was one of the best moments of our days in Sal. Thank you Harley for the great welcome and patience with us :)

We loved the Tour immensely, we booked for self-drive and yet the Enterprise provided us with a digital guide that through all the places we passed the very interactive and fun guide told us about Cape Verde in particular this wonderful island. The staff was very receptive and friendly. Ms. Maria, Harlley and Antonio were very helpful. I will come back and I will want this experience denovo.

We had a friendly Welcoming, a clear explanation of how the vehicle and tablet work. Staff smiling and welcoming. This vehicle is very nice because you drive at your own pace according to the itinerary of the tablet with explanations in French. You stop as you want and where you want. It is a guide at your disposal for and at your own pace. We enjoyed the experience and would not hesitate to do it again on an even longer circuit. We are pleased to recommend

We rent 3 cars at Spinach tours. We went there the day before to make a reservation for the next day. The next day they explained how the cars worked and everything and it’s very easy. So we were off to go. We rented the cars for 4 hours and could drive 60 kilometres. They gave us some nice discount and we could even use the cars for 30 minutes longer if we wanted to. They said we could drive 60 kilometres but when we were done the battery was still half way charged, so you could probably drive longer with it. It was a really nice day and good service from Spinach Tours!!!
