The DMZ area is the closest district to North Korea. This is primarily held in the Imjingak peace park where you can see the freedom bridge and Mangbaedan.
Then move to Dora observatory where you can take a glimpse look at North Korea. Weather permitting, you can observe North Korea through a telescope.
The last stop will be the 3rd tunnel, which you will have the opportunity to enter the tunnel made by North Korean soldiers on foot.
This tour is ideal for those interested in experiencing a unique glimpse into North Korea and the DMZ region..
We might need to take a DMZ shuttle at the Imjingak Park to enter the DMZ area by the government policy if less than 30 customers or all the spaces are taken.

Imjingak Pyeonghoa-Nuri Park
Imjingak Park, located 7 km from the Military Demarcation Line, is well known for its related to the Korean War. Imjingak was built in 1972 with the hope that someday unification would be possible. The three-storied Imjingak is surrounded by several monuments, Unification Park and North Korea Center.
Mangbaedan is a place where people who left their families in north visits on New years day.

5.00I participated in the DMZ half-day tour of Tunnel 3 with gondola, with Takkammari meal. First, we had a lecture from our guide Park Chan until we got on the bus to the DMZ. It's very clear, detailed and thoughtful, and it's not formal, with occasional jokes. Thanks to this lecture, my visit and experience at DMZ was beyond my imagination. Takkammari was another famous restaurant recommended by a friend. Park also taught me the tips on how to season and eat. It was very delicious and I finished it. It was very good to hear from Park about various things as a Korean. The DMZ tour was a meaningful experience considering the borderline with North Korea, the disjointed family, the value of freedom, and the global situation. Even if it's called a half-day tour, there's a lot of content, so it's a good idea to allow plenty of time.

5.00Until now, I had thought that war and North-South issues were distant strangers, but by joining the tour and listening to guides on history, I was able to see the boundary between North and South with my own eyes, and feel the situation close to home. It was a tour that taught me a lot, because I could feel that it was not a story of the past, but a problem that continues today. Even my guide Park's explanation was very easy to understand and I, who is not good at history, was drawn in.
