A 25 minute flight including an alpine landing, that looks directly at Aoraki Mt Cook and down onto the valley. We had a great time on the Tasman taster. 30 mins or so. Mark our pilot and guide was a legend. Everything felt super easy going, stress free and friendly. Definitely worth doing this cheaper option (we had great weather though).
I was 'crushed' both psychologically & physically 🤕😖😭😤

I was put in the one seat in the helicopter that meant taking photos was limited. This was not helped because the pilot did not interact with us hardly at all. He was very safety conscious & obviously a skilled pilot but his narration was very disappointing. I found him to be disinterested in his passengers & the sights to lookout for were gone (not helped by where I personally was seated) before I could find a gap through a window to capture them. The ground staff knew I was elderly & had a physical disability but still squeezed me in the back (right behind the tall pilot) with two adult men & a child. I will not use Viator or this helicopter company again!!!

Unfortunately we were disappointed with our helicopter flight. We thought that Alpine meant the landing would be on snow but it wasn’t. Not worth the $$ spent.
My helicopter tour was canceled!

The tour was cancelled at the last minute for two times due to the weather condition. I droves two round trips about 200 km at each attempt. Quite frustrating.
