Depart on another hour’s journey to Poring Hot Spring. Lunch at the local restaurant.

Transfer to Kundasang and check into a mountain resort. Dinner and overnight stay at the mountain resort.
Tamparuli
Upon pick up from the hotel lobby, you will be whooshed straight into Sabah’s lush countryside-- with a couple of interesting pitstops along the way for some famous local eats, handmade folk souvenirs, and perhaps a taste of some exotic fruits. The first ½ hour drive ushers you through scenic landscapes and lush paddy fields laced with rustic local villages and finally into Tamparuli Town. Take a walk on the famous “Jambatan Tamparuli” suspension bridge and soak up the small-town charm.
The Nabalu Market
Continue your journey through the mountainous roads winding along the Crocker range for another hour, till the next brief stop at Nabalu Handicraft market. Nabalu is a rustic point perched on the hillside, where the local natives gather to sell local produce, fruits, home grown vegetables and handicraft souvenirs.
Poring Hot Springs
Depart on another hour’s journey to Poring Hot Spring. Lunch at the local restaurant. After lunch, time for a soothing sulphur bath in the Japanese-styled open air tubs! Dip in the all-natural mineral-rich hot springs water, surrounded by beautifully landscaped gardens. There is also a cold water pool nearby for those who prefer a cold dip.
Poring Hot Springs
Day 1 wraps up with an immersive exploration of Mount Kinabalu’s treetops. The Canopy Treetop Walk invites you to witness the grandeur of a hundred million year old rainforest, from a 175m length walkway suspended 60 meters above lush jungly tangles. Take in the sights and sounds and discover unique rainforest creatures from a bird’s eye view. Also, keep an eye out for some rare feathered beauties. A 20 minutes hike is needed to reach the Canopy Walkway.

Desa Dairy Farm
First up on the day’s agenda – Visit Desa Cow Farm. Along the way when you see the roads grow narrow and the landscape gives you rear view mirror licks of fresh green sceneries, a 199hectar stretch of pristine farmland on the foothills of Mount Kinabalu means you have reached the Desa Cattle Farm! Cattle graze the green valley pastures to provide nearly one million liters of mountain-fresh milk annually, all while travellers both near and far enjoy the outrageously scenic view that plays backdrop to this dairy farm. You can get close to the cattle, bottle feed the calves and enjoy some fresh milk or yogurt produce straight off the farm.
Kinabalu Park
Continue your journey to visit Malaysia’s first ever UNESCO World Heritage Site, Kinabalu National Park. Set at 1,500m above sea level, this 754sq kilometer park features one the Tallest Mountains in all of South East Asia as its center piece - Mount Kinabalu. Rising at 4,095.2m with cloud-hugging peaks that shade the valleys below, the majestic mountain is certainly a sight to behold from Kinabalu National Park.
Mount Kinabalu Botanical Garden
Kinabalu Park itself boasts an estimate of 4,500 species of plants which include 1,500 species of orchids, 77 of which are endemic to Kinabalu. The park also supports 289 species of birds and 290 different types of butterflies. Enjoy the refreshing and cooling air as you proceed for a guided walk along the nature trails in the Botanical Garden, to learn more about the Kinabalu Park’s biological treasure trove. From carnivorous Pitcher Plants to rare Orchid species, the garden showcases a broad collection of endemic plant species found in Mount Kinabalu’s unique climatic zones.

5.00We have amazing trips. Amazing view on North Borneo Cruise dinner. Nice food and entertainment. We are very fortunate to have Gavin as our guide. He is very patient, professional and knowledgeable. Gavin request for Mt Kinabalu room view for our 2 nights stay in Perkasa hotel. However, limited choice for hotel breakfast and dinner.

5.00We enjoyed the tours in Kota Kinabalu, which was made really special by seeing a Rafflesia which we know is very fortunate. But it was our guide Neil Ardley who really made the trip memorable. He was friendly, knowledgeable and very passionate about the flora and fauna we encountered on the trip. Fantastic guide and driver, and highly intelligent. An absolute pleasure to spend time with.

He is very professional, attentive, helpful & sharing every possible local information and making everything very convenient and addressed all my concerns. Most of all very Sincere and Honest. I started my enquiry with him last night at 930pm plus and interrupted his late dinner. By noon today I have completed and confirmed my booking to Climb Amazing Mt Kinabalu. Lewis went beyond the gold standard to help me save cost and suggested an extra nite at the Foot hills of Mt Kinabalu to ensure that I acclimatise and am in tip top condition to take on the hiking the next day. 5.00A hazzle free, well organised tour with a professional tour guide, this is the tour to go! I highly recommend. We were delighted to travel in a comfortable vehicle with our star tour guide cum driver, Gavin. A tour guide with pleasant personalities, positive vibes, friendly & passionate with his job, attentive to our needs and meeting our requests. Gavin is a knowledgeable guide in nature, sharing his knowledge in an interesting way which caught our attention. He has got me hook to explore more of Sabah! Thank you Gavin for going the extra miles for some stop overs and go according to our pace! You are patient indeed hunting for the seasonal fruits. They are simply so amazing! 5.00Well structured tour, our guide Neil was exceptional in making sure we were comfortable, giving us the right information at the right time, and being informative about all the spots we were visiting. He also went out of the way to take us to eat durian in the Kundasang market on the second day as we requested to eat it again. Favourite part of the tour was the Kundasang market and the cow farm.

He was on time meeting us at the airport and well organized and full of good information. Tommy showed us the best of Kota Kinabalu. He made our experience unique and gave us memories to last a lifetime. Tommy cultural information was amazing and his English was very good. He was easy to understand and to converse with.
