Mkomazi National Park
After breakfast you will be met by our guide/driver, who will deliver a short briefing before heading into the Park for a game drive. The park takes its name from a word from Pare tribe denoting “scoop of water”, referring to little water. Mkomazi is a virgin breathtaking beauty exhibiting unique natural treasures and immense sense of space, which adds to the fulfilment of visitor enjoyment expectations, which is a much needed bridge between Tanzania's northern circuit and coastal attractions. It is a fantastic destination for birdwatchers, with more than 450 avian species recorded, among them are the dry country endemics such as the cobalt chested vulturine guinea-fowl, other large ground birds such as ostrich, kori bustard, secretary bird, ground hornbill and some migratory species including the Eurasian roller. The park is also a vital refuge for two highly endangered species, the charismatic black rhino and the sociable African wild dog.

Arusha National Park
You will be picked up in the morning by our English-speaking guide and together you head to the entrance of Arusha National Park, the Ngongongare Gate. After the formalities are finished, the day's adventure can start. Arusha National Park is one of Tanzania's smaller parks and is a popular destination for day trips due to its proximity to Moshi and Arusha. Despite its size, the park offers a spectacular landscape and a diverse wildlife population. Giraffes, zebras, antelopes, buffalos, warthogs, baboons, colobus monkeys, blue monkeys and other animals can be seen all year round - as well as a large variety of bird species. With luck, you will also see leopards, elephants and hyenas. Due to its stunning beauty, many scenes of the Hollywood classic "Hatari" starring John Wayne and Hardy Krüger were filmed here.

5.00The communication and service was very good. They came the night before and gave us some information about the trip, and also brought with them a small gift. The hole trip was planed well, and our guide made our trip very fun.

5.00It was a very good trip, and much included for the money we used on it. We got every meal covered, and 1 liter of water every day! The guide who was with us was very good at spotting animals, told us about animals in mikumi and answered all of our questions. Before the trip it was some problems with the date we were supposed to go to the safari, because of the election here in Tanzania, and apex were very flexible and it was no peoblem to rescedual to another date. Overall i am very happy with the trip!

The guides were incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about the wildlife and culture of Tanzania. They made every game drive an exciting adventure, ensuring we spotted the Big Five and so much more. Their expertise and dedication to safety were evident throughout. The accommodations were outstanding, offering a perfect blend of comfort and authenticity. Every detail was thoughtfully planned, from the delicious meals to the smooth transportation between parks. 5.00We had an amazing safari with Obrey Safaris and can't recommend them highly enough. I chose obrey because of their excellent communication over email, I contacted a few different safari companies but Redeem at Obrey Safaris was the only one who sent me a personal response answering all of the questions that I asked, quickly and professionally. When we arrived back at the hotel after climbing Kilimanjaro Redeem was waiting for us at the hotel, she gave us a fabulous briefing and it was so lovely to meet her in person. The following morning Yoah was waiting for us at 6.30 ready to take us on our safari to Tarangire national park. The transfer was 3 hours and we stopped halfway at a safari shop and to collect our lunch. Tarangire National Park was amazing, we saw so many animals including Giraffes, Elephants, Zebras, Vultures, Pumbas and even saw a Lion! Yoah was so informative and knew so much about the animals and gave us a fabulous tour around the park. They even provided a bottle of bubbly as it was our honeymoon so we had that in front of the elephants! Our flight that evening was delayed and Yoah was great and wasn't in a rush so took us to a restaurant to get some food before our flight and then dropped us to the airport which we were very grateful for. Overall we had a brilliant experience with Obrey and would recommend them to anyone. Thank you so much. Nicole and Nat x
