Hi, I´m Jakub (James, יעקב, Jacob, Giacomo...), you can call me Jimi. I´m one of the few people who can call themself "starý Prešporák" (Bratislava old settler). Since I was young my hobbies were history, psychology, philosophy and examining the perception of society and its development. That´s why I started doing tours almost 10 years ago, while I was still in high school. If you want to learn something about antiquity, middle ages and the modern history of Bratislava/Slovakia I´m here for you.

Bratislava
As a local with extensive knowledge of Bratislava and Slovak history and culture, I will show you important landmarks, summarize the vast history of Slovakia and Bratislava, and paint a picture of Slovak society. During the tour we can see the the Old town, Slovak National Theatre, the Philharmonic, the Slovak National Museum, The Old bridge, the Slovak National Uprising Bridge (UFO), the oldest park in Central Europe, St. Martin's Cathedral, the city walls, Bratislava Castle and much more.

5.00This is not an ordinary walking tour that you get in other European cities. (Did few before) A tour with Jakub is like a tour with an old friend you haven't seen in years. I was worried that two hours would drag on and an hour would have been more than enough, but in the end, the almost two and a half hours went by incredibly quickly (thanks for the extra time). I learned a cross-section of city's history, art, culture, and the current state as well. At the very end of my tour we also tasted a fantastic homemade beer in a traditional Slovak pub. I took away many great memories from my three days in Bratislava, but the part with Jakub was definitely the best. Your tour is an absolute ace. Thanks mate! 🙏🏼

5.00This tour with Jakub was great fun. He has deep knowledge of the city’s history as well as that of Slovakia. He was patient, attentive, and even took some great photos for me. I highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to experience the main highlights of the city in just two hours. Jakub truly knows the best spots.

5.00Jacob is a lovely chap. He was clearly looking forward to giving us a tour and kindly offered to reschedule when I called to say my husband was travel sick and we had to cancel. Unfortunately we only had very limited time in Bratislava but if we get the chance to return Jakob is no 1 choice.

5.00Jakub was a very pleasant and professional guy. I received lot of info about history of Bratislava and Slovakia. Tour was during very hot day, so we even shared beer in very nice local pub.
