Feel all the greatness of the Austro-Hungarian Empire in one day! From Vienna to Bratislava and Budapest. In one day you will be able to feel the atmosphere of three capitals of different countries: Austria, Hungary, and Slovakia. Can you imagine that it used to be one state? That's what our trip will be about!
Vienna is the capital of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. At the beginning of our journey, I will tell the story of Vienna and how the Empire was born.
Bratislava is a cozy medieval city with a unique Slovak flavor. This city was the coronation place of the Hungarian Kingdom. We'll stop in the city center for coffee and a traditional Slovak dessert.
Budapest is a majestic city with amazing buildings built during the heyday of the capital of Hungary. Once called the “Queen of the Danube,” Budapest consists of two parts, Buda and Pest. Our car-walking tour will affect both parts of this city.
In Budapest, I will show a few Hungarian restaurants with local cuisine.

Vienna to Bratislava, about 1h 20 min. At the beginning of our journey, I will tell the story of Vienna and how the Empire was born.
Bratislava
Bratislava is a cozy medieval city with a unique Slovak flavor. This city was the coronation place of the Hungarian Kingdom. Even today, St Martin's Cathedral still has a copy of the Holy Crown of Hungary at the top of the tower. Mozart, Haydn, and Beethoven visited Bratislava several times and have given a concert. We'll walk in the city around 2 h and can stop for coffee and a traditional Slovak dessert. From Bratislava to Budapest will be around 2 h.

5.00Jenny and her partner, Vladimir, were amazing guides. Vladimir was a very safe driver and let us out at convenient spots so we didn’t spend unnecessary time searching for parking. Jenny’s knowledge of the history and culture of Budapest and Bratislava was amazing. They were both kind and caring about our needs. They took us to the “not to be missed” places but we never felt rushed. This was a fantastic day with a fantastic couple!

5.00Jenny and her partner were super knowledgeable, friendly and very reliable. They recommended excellent restaurant in Budapest and fantastic ice cream shop in Bratislava. Their car was very comfortable, even having the possibility of reclining a little the seats to take a nap while driving between the cities. They veru happy to answer all our questions and made very helpful recommendations even in Prague. We would highly recommend this tour.

5.00We had a fantastic day trip to Bratislava and Budapest. Our guides Jenny and her husband picked us up at our hotel to start our full day tour. They were both extremely knowledgeable about the history, geography and peoples from both capitals and gave us an excellent and thorough tour of these beautiful cities. They were very friendly and great guides and hosts. They made sure we comfortable and saw all the most interesting parts of the cities at a very easy and relaxed pace. We had plenty of time to look, ask questions, stop for and shop for souvenirs. We throughly enjoyed the tour and would definitely recommend it to anyone interested in visiting Bratislava and Budapest while staying in Vienna.

5.00Jane (our guide) and Vladimir (our driver) were fantastic. They were extremely informative, friendly and they provided a great experience as they showed us the three capitals. My family (myself, my wife, and two sons 14 and 13) thoroughly enjoyed the day, learned things that only locals can share and we highly recommend them and this tour.
